The Food Bank of North Alabama has been a game changer for our church. We participate in the full tummy project of Limestone County, which sends food home with students on the weekends. Our partnership with the food bank allows us to get this food at a much lower cost than buying it from stores. They also consistently have large quantities, which is important when feeding so many children.

Everyone at the North Alabama food bank was wonderful. We had a great experience with all the staff there. We are partnered with them through unsheltered international to help feed people in need in our area. Special thanks to Amanda , Lucky and all the warehouse staff. God bless all of you for your good works. Hope to see you all again soon.

Truck drivers if you deliver here it’s better to take this very next left after Vernon Ave SW because you’ll have to back down a very active street into a dock. They only have one dock door. Slide your tandems to the front and do what you’re paid to do and that’s deliver goods and services. It’s tight but take your time and do what you’re trained to do.

To the owners of this establishment I would have given a 5 Star review but there weren’t any signs posted notifying me of the backing situation I encountered.

The people leaving 1 star reviews don’t seem to realize this is a food bank, not a pantry. They buy in bulk and redistribute the food to 35 local pantries. They may not be able to assist people one on one in an efficient manner. Yes food donation sites do run out of food at times.

If you are delivering here. Turn on it Vernon ave sw then you’ll turn onto binford ave. And back down Vernon. The docking area is a tight area. There is no over night parking on the streets or facility. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Just volunteered a few hours sorting cans at the food bank. The staff is absolutely amazing and friendly. Even when we messed up they didn't make us feel bad. I love what the company is doing for the community. I can't wait to go back!

I went to the food bank on the first to pick up food and got a flier that said a free food would be given away at the visitors center on Dec 15th from 11.30 to 2.30. What a joke they ran out of food way early . I then called the pantry and was told so sorry we only had 500 food baskets and tough luck. I dont think this was handled well at all as a matter of fact this is the third time it has happened. These people get paid to do a job and they are failing I drove forty miles to here sorry. and waste my time . I will not be talking good of this orginization untill they learn how to do there job. We have a voice and let them know you are unhappy or it will keep doing it. I am unimpressed and very mad if you only have so much then put on the flier only 500 baskets are availab,le .You might want to tell the peoiple the truth so they wont be let down like the many people you did today Bad Bad Bad.
