I love the items that are in the store but hate the racial profiling. I observed every one be greeted and even associates held conversation with everyone in the store but ME! One associates walked passed me several times then watched me from a far shop then asked if I wanted a basket or for my things brought to the front. I felt uncomfortable in the store being the only woman of color. So I left. I really wanted to purchase all of my items I picked up but I couldn't with being uncomfortable. You have to do better ladies! Not everyone with a darker complexion wants to steal.

Assistance League resale shop is a favorite resale shop in the Arden Arcade area. The shop is clean, the clothing is clean, and the shop's overall appearance is cheerful and has a professional appeal. Prices are reasonable and they offer some very nice clothing, as well as art supplies and books. While the staff is friendly, they can be a bit lofty at times. However, I go there for the merchandise and that is all that really matters.

I found this place because their pretty gray building caught my eye. I was immediately impressed when I walked in at how clean and organized it was. No musty "thrift store" smell. The organization of the store made browsing so easy and enjoyable. On top of it being clean and organized, their staff is wonderfully friendly and their prices are very reasonable! I was short on time so I didn't get to treasure hunt as much as I like to, but will definitely be back to peruse!

Very clean, has a boutique feel. Lots of clothing, including a nice selection of vintage, and a small assortment of household goods along one wall. The staff is all volunteer and they are extremely helpful and friendly.

My experience at the American League thrift shop was great! I was greeted at door regarding shop special of the day and, I was encouraged to sign up for raffle which I happily did. The shop was very appealing to the eye with lots of inviting colors. While browsing; there was always a friendly face available to answer any questions regarding merchandise which was very affordable and included men/women clothes, household items and books, to name a few. Overall; my visit was quite enjoyable and I will refer others along with returning myself.

This was my second time here since last December 2021. The prices are higher than other thrift stores but the clothing are higher expensive name brands. I found a fun, cool blazer and a pair of express dress pants that were on a $1 sale. I'll be back again.

Not even 5 minutes inside the store altogether with my wife and son, and had to remind myself that even in 2020 racism is alive and thriving. Two of the store employees (older white women) watched my wife (young black woman) with a laser beam gaze.watching us through glass displays but never asking anything that you would hear from sales associates. When she(wife) brought it to my attention I was already wondering why they were checking clothes on the sales rack for damage. As if they don't run those checks before they stock it. Never coming back.
