I went to Holiday Home Camp in 1978 & had a phenomenal time. When I went to HHC it was a camp for children with Type 1 diabetes & I remember the medical staff & counselors making a concerted effort to have the campers manage their diabetes on their own as much as they could. It was a wonderful learning experience in a fun environment for so many kids with diabetes. Sadly we moved away the next year & I was never able to go back. Btw do they still host the diabetic camp at HHC?

I absolutely love this camp. I am 26 years old and I actually went here for two years as a child (ages 9-11). Now, years later, my son is a camper there. This upcoming summer (2017) will be his 2nd time attending. He loved it as well. They have archery, swimming, and so much more. Each cabin is named after an Indian tribe from what I could remember. Also, the food was great when I attended and he loved the food as well (he is very picky so that was a surprise)! They do pickup and drop off. They also offer scholarship/payment assistance and many of the children are from all around the world and different backgrounds. The counselors are great and you can even mail your child while they're in camp. I have so many amazing things to say in so little time. I recommend.

My experience with this camp didn’t begin as well as I had hoped and there was a bit of confusion with the travel arrangements. All minor compared to the overall experience. I was left with no doubt that I’ve found an amazing summer camp for my child. He LOVED it. My son came back home singing camp songs and asking when he’ll be returning. Oh and when leaving, the camp staff gave my son the biggest bye ever. I was moved to tears. Thank you Jordan, Andriana, and Ms. Linda and see you all next summer 😇😇😇🥰🥰🥰

My twin sister & I use to go to this Camp when we were kids. We went for about 3-4 straight years. Yes, each cabin did have an Indian name. We would raise the US flag before breakfast & lower the US flag after dinner. Camp counselors taught us how to swim by levels....Beginners, Intermediate & Advanced ("Deep", as we call it). LOL! We even had a big Carnival, where the kids helped created, set-up and man the Carnival. What great memories!

I love this camp. I went when I was 10 and I'm 21 now. They had the best beach the older group got to go mountain bike riding. We had a food fight and had to clean up after it. The food was good for camp food we played the best games and crafts.
