Whoever would have thought that you would need training to install car seats properly. But they have lawyers. Doctors highly educated people coming in with confused. Looks on their faces. Not understanding the pages of instructions for these things. These ladies doing excellent job of breaking it down, staying up to date on their certification and providing this most important service to our community. It will be sad to see them go given United Way deciding to send their funding elsewhere.

I had infant car seat that I couldn't get in so made an appointment for that day. The lady was so helpful and showed me how to adjust for the size of the child. I had an face forward that I had in place for awhile but was not in correctly. She put both seats in correctly and I am so grateful. Didn't cost me anything but they do take donations. Definitely worth it.

When we upgraded to the next size up from the infant car seat, we could not figure out how to get it installed, the instructions were so hard to visualize. The gals at the child safety center were so helpful and knowledgeable! They got it secured quickly, and helped me understand how to do it myself, including how to flip it to forward facing. We need more services like theirs 🙂 thank you!
