All the realtors very helpful, and running all over, out of their way, to open the HORRID lockboxes. I was looking for investment properties, and it didn't matter whether they tried to give me a one-day code or not; it never worked, and wasted a LOT of their time, and mine. I spent quite a bit of time on the phone to different people at the MLS, and each time got told a different story about how to make it work to get those boxes open. It doesn't make sense for me to join this MLS just to get the "magic" app that allows me to open the boxes, when I don't work the area, and am only looking once in a while for investments. I believe this MLS should try the system they have in Manitowoc, which is electronic boxes with an actual code that you physically punch in. If someone isn't in their MLS, they get a one-day code which WORKS. NO desperate phone calls, hoping someone can run & open lockbox, no time-wasting for the listing agents, no "magic" apps and codes that don't work for the buyer. NOTHING is worse than those lockboxes, and speaking as an outsider, it almost seems as if this MLS is trying to make agents' jobs harder by having them use those boxes.
