I've been volunteering here since the spring of 2015 and I can't recall a time where Sarah didnt go out of her way to bring life, entertainment, education, and cheer to the center. I've seen the center mold and change over the years but there is a certain camaraderie that someone can get while there are there. Always a delight!

The name is what defines it. Some places are a business but some a part of the community. This place has been there for a long time, longer than I ever first came to that city as a child. The name has changed but it's always been part of the community. Part of peoples and something that was there for people when they needed and as a result their life went towards something better when it may it have not if they hadn't had something to reach out to. Place like this are important for that reason alone. Often cities can't see the value and are hesitant to fund them or donate to them but they need to look at the effect over a period time and how that works towards the state of the city itself.

It's a safe place for people struggling with mental health disabilities or physical disabilities. They do field trips, cooking lessons, music lessons, movie night, special events, arts and crafts and much more. You belong here.

Things at the Out Reach Center are moving along slow , They are allowing 12 members in the building at a time , Social Distancing is their main concern , The Center is constantly cleaned throughout the day , I have attended Round Table every day this week , It's always Informative especially The Icebreakers and Topics , I miss the other Staff.
