I would give a lower star if I could but in all the years since this office opened they have been anything but helpful. What a total waste of my time. All I do is get referred to the resource yearly book. Not sure what they would do without that. My son is 38 has developmental disabilities and as far as using this office for information, guidance or help finding services they are useless, always have been. Biggest waste of tax payers money I know of. I just really wonder what all the people employed there do because it cannot be much. It sure is not useful. Call the ADRC they tell me. Been there, done that and hasn’t help me one bit! Biggest waste of time ever!!!!!

I was told ADRC would be able to help me with getting pictures off high walls and help with packing up my home. Left voice-mail saying they don't offer help, but left resources that I could pay for. I live on a very small social security monthly benefit since my husband passed away in March 2023 & this made my moving even more difficult. I move a little at a time with my SUV. I thought ADRC helped out those that needed services?

A few years back I was living in subsidized housing where it was horribly abusive. I had video. I had pictures. I had documentation.
I called this place and talked to some woman about elder abuse and after 45 minutes the woman asked, "What do you want me to do?"

Seriously? Do what you were hired to do.

I was so blessed to be able to get into the program about 8 or 9 yrs ago and have the most caring psychiatrist. I have ever dealt with.

I had a friend visit recently and had an inappropriate experience. The person at the desk judged her by external appearance not knowing everything that she is dealing with and told her to get a job. If she had the ability to work the person she dealt with would not have a job. Maybe the employee needs to learn a little empathy.
