I feel that my experience seemed rushed and lacked a thorough exam of my injuries. Yes, my hand was the priority, but my elbow has since shown a big bump and bruise. Wasn't touched or checked. Also experienced a bump on my head that wasn't mentioned that night, but felt the next day. I was asked if I hit my head, and I believe I said yes but not hard. Again, should have at least looked. He never saw the puncturewound on my palm till AFTER he said I could go home. That being said, it confirms that he should have been more thorough and less rushed. Dr. Peterson was nice though, despite my experience.

Excellent care from the moment I walked in the door. No wait at all, nurse wàs waiting for as I finished check in. All my information was in their system so I didn't need to provide insurance cards or medications. The care staff were kind, quick and answered all my questions. I came in with shortness of breath and was it quickly determined I was in a-fib, given meds, to reduced the heart rate. An x- ray, blood work and consultation with another doctor was all done. Follow up the day after has also been excellent.

I will start by saying, staff was very kind and compassionate. However, I do not feel staff had the knowledge base they should have in an ED. We came in for a laceration of the face(8yr old girl) and left with an open wound, that was glued without being closed. Now, there is the possibility of a future scar revision. A simple pinch to close the wound is common sense. My daughter is now so self-conscious of how large her glued open laceration is, that she insists on wearing a gauze covering in public and to school. My heart breaks for her. This should never have happened. It should have been stitched from the start. Not closing the wound after applying glue (and not flushing clean the wound first) is not a mistake a professional should make. Maybe more training is needed. I will not add photos due to privacy of my child.

I would usually say a five. But this time you didn’t shine. Came in with chest pains. Attended to very promptly. Was decided to stay overnight. Took a good two plus hours to get to a room. Attended to very promptly. Was told I would probably have a stress test in the morning. So no coffee no food after midnight. Get up in the morning to find out not on any schedule for anything. Finally scheduled for an echocardiogram. Waited for results. Doctor finally came in stated couldn’t find anything. Okay to go home. Still no food and absolutely NO heart medicine. Must have been four or five hours later we get to go home. The day nurse was so patient because I badgered her constantly. Reason for delay was doctor forgot to put order in. Verbally told to follow up with my doctors. Check out paperwork had no follow up orders. This is so not Ascension. .. this is usually how your treated at Aurora.

Unfortunately, I needed to utilize the ER, BUT this ER is wonderful. Everyone staffed here from start to finish was so great. Very professional, compassionate and thorough! We are SO lucky to have such a great facility near by. Thank you, Ascension ER team for everything.

Recently broke my ankle and the staff made it as great of an experience as it could be given the situation. The staff was kind, professional, and attentive. They explained everything clearly and made me feel cared for. Plan on going back for future surgery if need be.

Very very bad experience. I took an AMBULANCE there because I was not able to put weight on my right foot. I had spinal surgery a year ago and very bad pain for last four weeks. Dr. Coran’s office told me to get to Franklin ER, for pain management and an MRI. The ER staff stated MRI is never from ER. Total waste of time and money. I was administered morphine, there was a blood draw, I asked why? The tech said, ‘it’s just a panel’, no explanation why, the results were never discussed. The nurse came in raving about the miracle drug, Toradol, which was administered. A PT tech came in for about 15 minutes of therapy. I was still in considerable pain. I took 5 steps in the room with a walker. The team came in, the nurse spoke over the doctor stating, I did not have ‘the criteria’ to be admitted, despite horrible pain and very limited mobility. I said, so a headful of morphine and toradol and walking 5 steps means I am now better? I was released with a plan for at home PT since I can not get around unassisted. Regarding the MRI, I feel the staff was rude, like insinuating I was an idiot for expecting the MRI that my doctor told them about and told me to expect, hence the reason to take the ambulance. I will reach out to the ER today to make my feelings known. This was an expensive nightmare of a day in the ER. Feel free to contact me.
