Other than the almost 3 hour wait on a Monday afternoon to get seen in a room in the emergency department, I was happy with the overall experience. The PA, RN and all other staff members were patient, knowledgeable and very attentive to my needs. The ED was clean and quiet.

Visited my friend getting care for a bowel obstruction issue. The nurses were fantastic- especially a male nurse Jordan that came in a number of times while I was there. So friendly, informative and a great listener! Also made the checkout procedure so easy. Had all the info, diet suggestions and names and appointments we need to check on and follow up on in the next few days. He made a scary visit more comfortable. Kudos to Jordan! and Thank You for making a difference with the patients in your care!

The ER was quick in getting test results and getting me admitted. The 3rd floor care staff was wonderful, especially my nurse Danielle K who was so friendly, happy, and caring. My only issue was staff wearing perfume and cologne. One was a physician, the other was a nutritionist. I have lung issues and scents also bother my wife. I thought it was a policy for staff to not wear scents due to patient issues. If not, it should be.

We had a fantastic experience at Ascension/MOSH during my recent visit. From the moment we walked in the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The check-in process was smooth, and I was seen promptly.

The Medical team was knowledgeable and compassionate, taking the time to answer all my questions and ensure my son felt comfortable throughout his treatment. The facility was clean and well maintenance, which made us feel safe and cared for.

A special thanks to all staff, from the ED up to the OR for their exceptional care. I truly appreciate the dedication and professionalism of everyone involved we left feeling reassure and well taken care of. I highly recommend MOSH to anyone in need of medical care.

I will start by saying, staff was very kind and compassionate. However, I do not feel staff had the knowledge base they should have in an ED. We came in for a laceration of the face(8yr old girl) and left with an open wound, that was glued without being closed. Now, there is the possibility of a future scar revision. A simple pinch to close the wound is common sense. My daughter is now so self-conscious of how large her glued open laceration is, that she insists on wearing a gauze covering in public and to school. My heart breaks for her. This should never have happened. It should have been stitched from the start. Not closing the wound after applying glue (and not flushing clean the wound first) is not a mistake a professional should make. Maybe more training is needed. I will not add photos due to privacy of my child.

EDIT: I just read the medical record report, and what was "documented" is incorrect at many different points. I'm not sure why my daughters visit was not documented correctly, other than the PA and Attending knew they made an error in the way they handled this laceration. Very disappointing to an already sensitive matter.

These people had me LIMP down a hallway to get to a room instead of grabbing a wheelchair. Then proceeded to tell me that they don’t give out pain pills! Well after the white doctor did my X-ray she was surly trying to give me pain pills then. I declined and let her know that my ibuprofen was working fine. Racism in emergency room is really sad.

Staff was great but when I was admitted they didn't give me all my daily meds which in turn made me feel even more off. My nurses were very caring and attentive, the PCT staff were great. Checking in and making sure I was doing ok and had what I needed.
