I cannot say enough great things about this facility and the staff. Three weeks ago my mother's health took a bad turn and we found our selves at the hospital across the street (also excellent staff). A rehab/nursing facility was recommended as an intermediate step to an assisted living facility as she could not return to her home. Being from out of town and not knowing the area, I was fortunate to have been able to walk across the street from the hospital, tour the facility, and speak with their Admissions Coordinator Mary. Her compassion and effort in working quickly to get my Mother a room as she was being discharged from the hospital was simply incredible.
The facility itself is top notch. Clean, bright, and spacious with both indoor and outdoor spaces to allow someone to get out of their room if able. All the P/T and nursing staff were very attentive and kind to my mother (tears were shed on discharge as she didn't want to leave). Another stand out was their Social Worker Andrea. We were kept updated on status and she worked tremendously hard in connecting and advising our family on a good assisted living facility in the area even helping making the connection for the quick admissions that were needed.
What started as a bad situation was made easier thanks to Lakeland Health Care Center and I am truly thankful to all the staff. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that has the need and know that your loved one will be safe and cared for.

Lakeland Health Care Center is an amazing facility! From the moment you walk in until the time you depart, every staff member our family encountered was professional, accommodating, and pleasant! The facility is bright and clean, and offered our entire family support and wisdom. The wide range of care and extracurricular activities both on the premises and beyond for residents that are able, are fun, creative, and diverse! The entire staff was extremely attentive to our loved one's needs, which is exactly what we'd hoped for once our loved one needed more care than we could give her in our home. Thank you Lakeland!

LHCC was literally a life saver for me. After suffering a cracked femur during a "routine" hip replacement procedure along with two dislocations, inpatient therapy and rehab was the only safe option for me.

The staff there is excellent and very caring. From the Nurses and CNAs to the cleaning crews they were always knowledgeable and friendly. The rehab/therapy staff helped me get stronger and much more confident alot quicker than I would doing this at home.

The rooms and facilities were always fresh and maintained. And the meal program offered quite a variety!

If I'm ever in a situation again where impatient rehab is on the table I will definitely be choosing Lakeland Healthcare Center!

The care I received was excellent. The PT Department worked very hard with me so I could function at home independent as possible.
The staff was excellent especially the CNA'S . Randy and Alex were respectful, caring and always willing to help.
Judy was also very supportive. (Thanks for the coffee)
I would recommend the care at Lakeland for your loveones.

I truly have no complaints on Lakeland Healthcare Center. Excellent attention from the nurses, CNA's, rehab dept. and office staff. The food was really good and always served on time. I also have 1st hand knowledge of the nursing home section and I would recommend it to anyone. The cleanest nursing home I have ever been in!

Care was outstanding. All personnel were helpful and qualified. That extra little bit of attention was always right up front. The facilities were immaculate and always fresh and bright. Lakeland did all they could to turn a bad situation into something a lot more pleasant. Not wishing to repeat the experience but if necessary I would seek to repeat it at Lakeland.

My father-in-law was there for several months. The staff and the facilities were fantastic. He really had a desire to be in his house, but that wasn't possible anymore. The team there did everything they could to make him feel at home. We even added an iPad for him to do Facetime calls when we couldn't be at the center. The staff trained him and made sure he was able to make the calls. It was so important to him. The team also met virtually with him and his doctor of many years. This too made a huge difference to him. We can't say enough of a thank you to all of you who made him comfortable and cared for during his final months. You kept him out of the hospital by catching things early. We didn't want him to go to the hospital during COVID. We both appreciate you all so much! Gene and Moira Ullrich

I was in this facility for about 3 weeks. I was treated as if I was everyone's favorite relative and, best friend. Also with extreme respect. When I left there I was overcome with the feeling of missing everyone there. This is really an incredible place to be for rehabilitation!
