I would give this place negative 5 stars if I could.Please know this is a teaching clinic so a licensed dentist will not be doing the work on your teeth.The "dental student" that worked on my teeth was drill crazy,and they performed procedures on my minor child without my consent,even though I was in the next room (our appointments were at rhe same time ).

I was looking for a place where my mom could get a free check-up. NO surgery, NO prescriptions, JUST a check-up.
We have both been out of work for over a year (we've each had three COVID-related job losses), so I asked the man if they offered check-ups for people with NO income whatsoever, as in no paychecks, no unemployment, no welfare checks, nothing; he wouldn't give me a straight answer. He would only say that there was an application we had to fill out first concerning our "no income" status, that they would have to prove for themselves we weren't lying, and then he just sort of trailed off.
So, I asked point-blank if AFTER filling out the forms and having them verify that we had absolutely no income of any kind, could my mom get a check-up and NOT get hit with a large bill. He still wouldn't answer. I asked a few more questions, and then AGAIN asked specifically if, once we filled out the application and the "no income" paperwork and then they verified to their satisfaction we really didn't have any income--if at *that point* I came in for a visit, could he guarantee she would not get hit with a high bill. He refused to answer. He just repeated, "You'd have to fill out the application." like a frigging machine.
In frustration, my mom said, "I'm not going there," to which the man said very curtly, "Okay, fine." and hung up. Nice, caring bedside manner.
I would recommend you avoid this place like the plague.

Omg doctor T and melisa, Wendy and front desk staff are the best most helpful people 👏 and they truly care about us patients. I'm not done with there services yet but I promise I'll never forget the experience I have had here. Thank you to them all for giving me back a smile I deserve.

Pertaining to Tuesdays nights support group.

I thought it was ok to just observe. Got asked a direct question using my name. Answered because I felt obligated to. I let out some very sensitive and private information.

It was only after answering their question that they said we don’t have to do anything we’re uncomfortable with. Had I known that, I wouldn’t of shared. I feel violated and left in way worse condition than I entered.

THAT NEEDS TO BE MENTIONED FIRST THING TO ANYONE BEFORE YOU START ASKING THEM QUESTIONS.

The staff was so friendly and inviting! My hygienist took the time to explain things, learn about me and was not judgmental. The doctor was great too, friendly and positive. I am actually excited for my next cleaning.

The volunteers are wonderful ...BUT getting your prescription refills can be a nightmare!!!! You can only pick up refills on Thursday and only from 10am until 6pm . The facility makes appointments for you without your knowledge like I just misseda prescription refill pickup on December 15th at 1:40pm due to the fact that I was at work and unaware of the appointment. If they would make it easier and more accessible fortocommunity as a whole

This free clinic offers a safe place for very low income, uninsured people to get the medical, dental, and vision care that they need. But they go beyond that. They treat each person with dignity. I didn't feel like a charity case. I felt like a person they genuinely cared about. When I got insurance, I was sad to leave the clinic. But they helped me get an appointment with a new doctor and made sure she would meet my needs.

Excellent care and staff! Very caring people! Even better than many other pay offices. Sometimes you have to get on a waiting list but understandable. Very generous of all of them!
