I'm not understanding why it's so hard to get or make an appointment no matter if you call or go online there never any appointments not even when you call the walk-in line on Thursday and Friday crazy and why is it only for one day at a time knowing there's a limit for everyday you should still be able to make an appointment for another day it's stressful even that you need help and even more not being able to get it or never getting threw

Being honest I think what this agency does is phenomenal. However, the staff seems to be very drool and not in the mood to be there.
I mean I'm sure they get some doozies that walk in sometimes, but not everybody that comes in is a doozy.
This visit, I just wanted some information. I asked if they have any links online to apply or fill out applications.
The lady at the window looked at me as if I was all of the sudden not speaking English.
I made sure to clearly and slowly ask my question again about the agency having an online presence.
I got a thousand yard stare, as if the lady had checked out for a few minutes.
So then I asked if I could take the paper application, and return it the next day.
All of the sudden she came back to life, and very unenthusiastically replied yes as if she was agitated just to answer me.
I didn't say anything else I just grabbed the application and left.

Took forever and a day to get an appointment! However, once in my caseworker was fabulous. Knowledgeable and completely on top of her job. Grateful to have them. Thank you Kyan!

Very helpful took care of past due gas & electric bills .then they lowered my monthly amount due on each . Next Friday I get a window air conditioner and a tower fan . professional helpful efficient great experience.

Can be a very helpful place but the front desk receptionist and some of them staff members are very rude especially the front desk lady absolutely rude

SARA G from Community Action basically said she wasn’t going to help me since I cancelled my appointment. I WAS SICK…. She’s very rude hung up on me while I was speaking. I went to a meeting and she said that I don’t qualify… found out I DO. She told me I could apply after the fact because there was gift certificates left…I sent all the correct paperwork to her email, like she asked me to do. Then she hangs up? Don’t hear from her again. This place is shady. I think they’re keeping the gift cards for themselves. She should have definitely handled my issue, seeing that I was told I didn’t qualify, when in fact I did. That whole day was a waste of time.

Turned in papers to revarify income and it never went through. Took papers in to the office and then got a letter saying I was removed from HEAP so I went in and was told they had my paperwork but they are taking 12 weeks to get to them (also would like to note thay both times I went in no one was in there waiting for appointments) I was told to call the appointment line to get my stuff seen sooner. I call the appointment line everyday and it always says all appointments are filled. After a few weeks of that I go in again (again no one was waiting for appointments) and was told to call the walk in number of Thursday and Fridays between 7am and 10am. I've been doing that and at 7:03 I'm told "all our walkin appointments are filled" I'd lobe to know what the hell is going on if all their appointments are filled but no one's there!
