I grew up in BBT and still attend when we’re in town. Such a great independent Baptist KJV church.

I've visited this church at least ten times as a guest.

The people are friendly and the preaching is pretty good. My family attend here and have made it their church home, but I'm not committed to it yet.

The music is okay. The greeting one another is extreme and the longest handshaking part I've ever seen in a church, but everybody is still really friendly and it's a nice place.

I have been a member of BBT officially since May of 2009, but I've been attending well before that. I've had the privilege of learning under three great preachers - founding pastor Dewey Jones, his son Raymond Jones, and now our current pastor Phil Taylor - and each are wonderful men of God. This church has a zeal for reaching the community with the Gospel. If your looking for a place that still stands by the Word of God as the final authority of faith, with a welcoming spirit and a heart to serve, then look no further than Batavia Baptist Temple.

Also, if you're reading this review, and you're not sure about your salvation, I want you to know that you can know for sure today. "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name." (John 20:31 KJV).

This church is very close to my heart. My grandfather Rev. Dewey R. Jones founded the church. My uncle Rev. Raymond D. Jones is now the pastor. I was born and raised in this church. I have gone to other churches, but none of them are like BBT. Vacation Bible School is always unforgettable and fun for the children. I was married in this church and I now bring my son to this church. I don't just go because my family started it, but because I have also met people who are my family through Christ. Each member and visitor is seen as family and treated as such. It is God given and blessed and we only use the KJV Bible and hold it's every God-breathed word of it in our hearts. I love how it is grown and hope to see it continue to grow as we help people learn about the love that God has for them.

Pastor Phil Taylor unashamedly preaches the Word of God. The people treat everyone like family. I came looking for a church and I found a home.
