Have come here a few times when I have been in town. Had the tacos before which were really good. This time I decided to get the pulled pork nachos for dinner. The food and the waitress were all great.

It was Karaoke Wednesday. Super fun. There is a big table of people. They all sing, pretty well. They are having a great time and I bet they are here each week. Food was very good. Middle of nowhere Archbold OH. Super wonderful surprise. Food was prepared with very fresh ingredients. Hot. Plentiful. We had pork nachos, Milanesa, patacon.

I was initially leaning toward a 3-star review, but after my experience, it’s definitely 1 star. The atmosphere is cute and inviting, and the menu has a large selection, but that’s where the positives end.

I ordered a veggie wrap with waffle fries. While the wrap was decent, it was overpriced for what was clearly just canned vegetables. The waffle fries were good, but honestly, it’s hard to mess those up. My boyfriend got the barbacoa tacos, which he found to be dry and bland. When he tried to salvage them with salsa, the salsa was bitter and watery.

The total bill of $50 for two meals without alcohol is outrageous considering the quality of the food. To top it all off, about 20 minutes after leaving, I started violently throwing up, and I only had the veggie wrap. I’m not sure how that happened. My guess is cross contamination.

We won’t be returning, and I hope this serves as a warning for others. It’s hard to believe this place will change based off of a google review.

Reply to business: Thank you for taking the time to respond. I should have been more specific with the bill. It was high $40s with the tip because we had good service. As I am writing a review, I think it’s important to tell people the bill will be about $50 for two people without alcohol. Also to emphasize how overpriced it is for canned food (100% the mushrooms were) and tipping the industry standard of 20%. Possibly the restaurant ran out of fresh that day. It happens.
A rumor and a warning are quite different in my opinion. I’m sure nobody wants to hear about the details leading up to the vomiting, but it is a crazy coincidence if it was not caused by the food I ate.
I do appreciate the offer for the refund, and would like to take it if I have the time to stop by. We will not be eating here again out of fear of becoming sick, so you can pay the free meals forward to a family this holiday season.

Order to go, because my wife and I wanted to stay in for the evening. And we were blow away at how good everything was. My wife had the 10oz steak and it was cooked exactly how we wanted, I had the BBQ chicken and waffle, I just wanted to try it out and it was very delicious. As an appetizer we got the BBQ pulled pork nachos which were splendid. Our sides (sweet potato fries, a side salad and steamed vegetables) were quite good as well. As an archbold resident, I will be visiting here often. I'm glad the downtown exists!

When i walked in the restaurant it smelled strongly of bleach. The food was wonderful. My server was mindful. It was our first time here and we had a good experience.

The decor here was casual and the actual seating was very comfortable. They have a patio area with live music some nights also. Food was very good! The waffle fries were 100 times better than Chick-fil-A's and the flavor of the pork chops with green beans was spot on. Very reasonable prices too.

Actually this should be a 4.5 star. We had great service and food. I had some tostones while awaiting the patacon entrée. The portion size is quite generous too. I would recommend stopping by and giving this restaurant a try; we will be stopping again ourselves.

I can't believe I have found delicious Latin American food in Archbold, Oh!!! It's the best I have had outside of Miami, FL. You have to try it! It's so worth the drive! The prices are extremely reasonable!
