This is my final day getting help from here as the new team of ppl are so rude and uncaring. The old hoax wouldn’t give me extra bags for my food and I have to catch not one but two buses home! I started not to come in here today. The mixed chick at the front desk needs an attitude adjustment. Very cold very unkind very uncaring. I’m tired of grand forks .

I recently had the opportunity to interact with this Salvation Army, and I'm beyond impressed with the incredible work they do for our community. Under the dedicated leadership of Eugene and Marsha, the team goes above and beyond to provide essential services and support to those in need. Their passion for helping others is evident in every initiative. Eugene and Marsha have created an environment where every person who walks through their doors feels valued and supported. Additionally, the efforts of team members like Tim and Nicole deserve special mention. Their hard work and commitment significantly enhance the impact of the Salvation Army's mission.

If you're looking for a way to contribute to or need assistance from a community-focused organization, I couldn't recommend the Salvation Army highly enough. The Salvation army was a big help but it was a little difficult to get the assistance needed. I remembered that it was quite a process to begin with, but ever since Covid-19 happened, things became strict. I was happy to see them trying their hardest to work with me. Overall, the Salvation army was very helpful

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff who'll make you feel like you're at a social club more than a thrift store. Great prices and sales every single day. Huge selection, variety of stuff, tons of books, clothing, knick knacks all for super cheap. Definitely recommend.

They don't get somebody to trim the bushes next to the sidewalk and I have to walk on the grass every time because the bushes are so long

I am a disabled senior on a fixed income, so from time to time I need a little help. I have always found the staff at the Salvation Army to be friendly, helpful, and nonjudgemental. They always present the true essence of Jesus. I would encourage those who have resources to help those in need to consider The Salvation Army of Grand Forks, ND at 1600 University Avenue.
