So this place rather see you homeless than try to help you any way they can they lady wouldn’t even listen to all of my income she just kept saying I need this or that but didn’t ask for me to show her proof. This is why I hate This place. She was well let me end this call right now , I’m like what kind of professional doesn’t hear a person out or try to understand where a single mother stand supporting 4 kids and you still can’t do anything to help no wonder why North Dakota has so many homeless people on drugs because there’s no one here to help at all.

I went there yesterday to donate some really nice items and the woman at the front desk could not have been more rude if she tried !! I've never donated there before and wasn't sure where to go so I went in the front door. She scowled at me and grumbled that most people donate at the back door. Then she kinda waved her hand dismissing me and told me to take the stuff to the back. Ummm…. where exactly I did find a place in back and set my stuff down but I have no idea if that's where it was supposed to be. When I left she had her face buried in a book and I never got a good-bye or a thank you. Won't be donating there ever again 🙁

I called a few days ago to see if I would be able to recieve some help. I work 2 part time jobs and one of them is for Harlows buses. I spoke to a lady who asked me about my work and how much my rent is. I began with my job at walmart and then told her how much my rent was. She didnt even give me the opportunity to tell her I had a second job. She quickly cut me off by telling me that there was nothing she could do for me because I cannot even afford to pay me rent next month. She really made me feel bad and embarrassed for even calling for help. I am a single mother who works 2 jobs and I attempted to ask for help because I was 300 short on my rent due to the fact theres a week I wont get pay. I feel really offended and it's really bothersome how people can assume or pass judgement on someone who they dont know or didnt even give me the opportunity to explain the entire situation. I hope that other people in my situation get treated better than how I was treated.

I love this place. This store is always organized and clean, and they sell snacks and drinks, too. They carry a huge range of items: clothes, shoes, furniture, lighting, books, toys, bedding, throws, curtains, rugs, kitchen wares and utensils, office supplies, decorative items and candles, home organization items like baskets and trays, jewelry and scarves, hobby craft supplies, DVDs and Music. I always end up spending hours inside.

Workers are very helpful and kind....I like coming here to find really good clothes , stylish curtains , and almost new comforters... they have a fitting room that stays open for our convenience...their shoes are put together on big shoe racks and by the size... so you don’t have to look for your size among all the other shoes... also clothes are arranged by size and hung as well on racks... they have some food items there as well to help out those in need... if your having trouble making your bills this is the place I’m told you need to go to... place is kept clean and well stocked..

If you need assistance be prepared to be spoken down to and to justify why you have a full time job but your spouse does not, despite having special need kids. Staff in the self help center are rude and dismissive.
