The housekeeping was terrible. I was in there for over a week and they didn’t show up until the day I left. My shower had wet towels in it that stayed there for at least two days. The rest of the staff tried to do their part in taking up the slack, but they had more important things to do like take care of the patients. I have been trying to get hold of someone to voice my complaint, but so far I haven’t got any response Also, recently I was in their outreach clinic in Williston. When I asked to use the restroom, it was not even handicapped accessible. Hello, I was in an orthopedic clinic. Why not

Dr. Gillian Lavik did a procedure on a family member a few months ago. The procedure went so well!! The staff was competent, caring and efficient. I was very impressed.

Went in for a simple UTI. Went to the walk-in clinic thinking that it would be cheaper that way paid $175 to be seen by the doctor that day they did inform me that if it cost anymore I would be billed but I assumed that would cover it got a bill in the mail a couple weeks later for $471. Thinking that was excessive then called them to see why the bill was so high and they informed me that that was just a partial bill. There was another $477 added onto that for a total of $948 plus the 175 that I’ve already paid so I called and made a complaint and they did finally give me a call back and offer a settlement amount of $554.95 . So I paid it, but will never be back to this hospital again.

Went in to orthopedic clinic for a shot in my knee for pain. I was diagnosed years ago didn't need x-rays or a doctor. Only a shot! They gave me some generic medicine that did very little for my pain. The shot was 36.00 and the office visit was 1616.76. I was in there for 8 minutes. Where does it end?

McKenzie County Health System seems to get better every time I visit. From the beautiful landscaping to the welcoming from staff when entering the buildings, it sets the tone for a great visit. Lab and imaging are among the best I’ve used anywhere. The medical providers including family practice, pediatrics, urology, orthopedics, general surgeons, hospitalists, emergency doctors, and urgent care - how did Watford City get so lucky? The care provided at MCHS is second to none. Thank you for being here. Our community is so lucky that we no longer have to travel anywhere from 1-3 hours to get medical care.

Absolute racket. ER blew off what was later discovered as a life threatening condition, they did absolutely the bare minimum and I was seen by a doc for all of 2 minutes and that cost me nearly a grand... You people are criminally inept.

Dr. Joshi represents the gold-standard of orthopedics. He performed a minimally invasive hip repair on my grandma that no one else would attempt based on her age, even though she was very healthy at baseline. He had her in surgery within 12 hours of the incident. He is a pioneer in his field and should be recognized for his extreme talent, passion and empathy.
Dr. Mastrapa and her staff were nothing short of amazing during her aftercare when her blood pressure dropped. She started her on pressors to stabilize her for transfer. I truly believe she saved her life with her constant attention and quick thinking. This Watford City staff is phenomenal with nurses and doctors still calling to check on her progress. My grandma is doing amazing for the record!
Dr. Joshi and Dr. Mastrapa are the best of the best; who would think that much talent would be hidden in a small hospital like McKenzie County. I can't thank them enough and will be forever grateful.
