Absolutely lovely experience! We recently moved back to Michigan and live within DeWitt area. This is by far the best restaurant we tried in Michigan so far. Food was delicious and we couldn’t have enough of it. We had some shrimp meatballs (best ever!), garlic bread (absolutely yum), ribeye (amazing balance of meat and fat) and risotto verde (with lots of yummy veggies). Dessert was delicious as well!
Wine selection is great, so if wine is your passion this is the place for you!
Looking forward for our next dinner here 5* 🫶🏻

This restaurant has ruined fine dining for me--it's made my standards too high! Bridge Street was one of the first fine dining restaurants I visited regularly. I first stopped by in 2019 and it's been my favorite restaurant ever since. In recent years I've traveled to many nice restaurants in the US and a handful in Europe. I've had some wonderful meals, many on par with Bridge Street, but I've never found another restaurant that unequivocally tops the food, drink, and service from this little DeWitt restaurant. In 2021 I even had a chance to visit a restaurant in Chicago with two Michelin stars. I had a good time at that restaurant, but left disappointed--I had expected the experience would be more like the amazing meals I've had at Bridge Street, for a fraction of the cost.

Stopped by Bridge Street again today and had a great time once again. I was a little nervous to eat dinner alone, but the bartender (Rachel) made me feel right at home, made me a great drink, and gave great food recommendations. My drink, appetizer, and entree cost less than $50. My entree was only $18--just $4 more than a burger at Applebee's. Great prices, great atmosphere, great service, great drinks, and phenomenal food. What else could you want in a restaurant?

I was super excited to try this cute little shop out but I was pretty disappointed with the flavors. It wasn’t horrible but it was definitely interesting flavors. We got a salad that had bleu cheese, pears, pecans it was a little overwhelming and tasted basically like lemon and bleu cheese. We had also gotten this shrimp toast and it was a little too greasy and nothing special in my opinion. The lamb with hummus was actually pretty good. And the toast was good. We didn’t get a drink other than water. I wished I had asked what to get instead of appetizers. But the place was overall super cute and cozy and moody. I just had wished I would have liked the food a little bit more. We left still feeling hungry because we didn’t even eat our food other than the bread and hummus.

Between a bottle of wine, an appetizer and two dinners the price of the meal was $120. I asked for a couple of extra pieces of toast to accompany our appetizer and was told that it was an upcharge.
That was an extremely alienating response from a small restaurant that is attempting to be upscale for the area.
With better customer oriented service I likely would have stayed for dessert and likely another round of drinks, but that stingy response indicated that the business really was not trying to make the experience worth the time or money.
Let's not turn what should be a relaxing evening into an airport, trying to grab every last penny.

It was a nice night out. If it gets busy, it can get loud. Still a fun and nice atmosphere for dinner. The food is delicious!!! I love the changing menus, there is always something new to try. You cannot go wrong!!! Also, they are always willing to help pair a nice drink with your meal. Being gluten free, I have never had an issue with getting sick.

After hearing and reading reviews I was very excited to check this spot out. The atmosphere was cozy and our server was outstanding but the food was nothing to talk about. For the price I was expecting perfection. The goat cheese truffle appetizer had a strange tomato relish with spinach that was very vinegar forward and just not good. My meatloaf was dry and very spicy with no vegetables included. My date’s walleye was overcooked needing a fork and knife and was way too lemon forward with no starch included. Very wannabe bougee without the excellent food to back that status up.

Went here for dinner on a Friday night. Was able to get a table, since a reservation happened to cancel just before our arrival. Had the lamb meatballs, smoked pork chop, & the salmon special (was told that there wasn't an actual name for this dish?). We really enjoyed the lamb and my husband liked his salmon. The chop was okay, though a little drier than I expected a bone-in chop to be. Service was fine & the person who seated us also served as our waiter, who was pretty personable & chatty. I would likely return & try something else.

This is the best 5-star restaurant in mid-Michigan. I look forward to the seasonal food menu and wine list. We often get flight of wines and a couple of dishes to share and take home to save room for their incredible deserts. Even the picky eaters in the group find things to enjoy, though the more adventurous among us get to bask is the chefs glory. I just don’t know how I went so long before trying this place for the first time back in 2019. Thankfully it has become a standby for celebrations and special date nights.
