Really great subs with very tasty rolls. Rolls and ingredients are fresh and of good quality. Service staff is polite and tolerant of new senior customers as they learn how to order efficiently. They will definitely make you a wonderful sub every time. Consistently, they make exactly what you ask for. The wait time at busy times can be long. but is worth the wait.

I have visited several times in the last two years. On one visit, there was a community yard sale. Casual, fun. I rode a bike through the two neighborhoods and the three condominium groups. Everyone was so easy and nice.

This year, 2022, I am here during the 4th of July. Somehow I discovered that for the 2nd(?) year they were having a 4th of July parade? In this little community? At 10 AM on Saturday, July 2nd, anyone who wanted to join met in the small parking area next to the clubhouse. Eight golf carts, with a couple golf carts that are triple seaters, two big motorcycles and a bicycle (me).

Every one dressed patriotically, at least with red, white, and blue. The golf carts, the motorcycles, and even the bicycle were all very festive, creative, and fun. We drove through each "wing" of Pamlico Plantation neighborhoods, and finally through the three condominium groupings.

The little town of Washington...North Carolina, the FIRST Washington, has the nicest and easiest and sweetest people. I discovered King Chicken, and almost "across" the street is Marabella's Pizza & Grill Italian Restaurant. Salvador, the owner, is Sicilian. He's been in the USA since he was 13, but still has a nice Sicilian accent. His father was a baker in italy. Even if you are from Little Italy in NY City, you should eat at Marabella's in Washington, NC.

The people in Pamlico are from Washington and around the area, and also from other places in the USA, and they are wonderful.

Did I mention the neighborhoods? One "wing" on each "side" with the condos in the middle with the docks and clubhouse. The neighborhoods have huge trees everywhere. Switching between manicured and all-natural forests in everyone's yard. This all makes for a great place to ride a bike or golf carts or walk.

Pamlico Plantation is on Pamlico Sound and there are docks for your boat. Washington, especially Pamlico Plantation, has great people, great weather, and a perfect atmosphere. It's off the beaten track, but close to civilization.

I have lived in a townhome for 5 years now and we still love it here as much as when we first found it. You couldn’t ask for better people to surround yourself with. If you want to get involved there is more than enough to keep you busy however there is no pressure to get involved if that’s not your thing. Every homeowner gets a boat slip and our marina is amazing with free water and electric. Your guest can stay on their boats overnight for $5. per night. We have many young families and the school bus picks up by our clubhouse. I just hosted my granddaughters first birthday party in the clubhouse and it was truly amazing to have such an great venue available for only fifty dollars plus a cleaning deposit. This truly is a great place to live and play!
