Too many residents don't know about this remarkable resource! The organization has been around for over 100 years and is still relevant for any individual or family who wants to improve their lives. There are 4 volunteer groups that act as informal educators and connections to the community of Wake: Extension & Community Association (formerly known as "Homemakers"); Extension Master Gardeners; Cooperative Extension Advisory Leadership System Volunteers; and 4-H Youth Development Club Leaders and Mentors! Nearly all of the services are of no charge - and your tax dollars are already supporting the capacity building focus. Check them out! Any resource you need for a better quality of your life - you'll find here!
