Will absolutely NOT be going to this Goodwill anymore. Asked an employee how much a diaper bag was because it was not marked, so she said “I need to bring this to the back so ‘she’ can price this”. Okay no big deal-she comes out and says $5.99
I found an old coach bag (leather was worn, strap missing and very dirty interior), but it was not separately priced which means it would just be the price of their standard purses, But when I went to check out, I was told by the employee “ Oh no, this is coach I need to go get a price on this from the back.” I said OK no big deal and I waited a few minutes. Then when she came back out, she said “ Oh, she just left so I can’t get a price on it and I can’t sell this to you”.
Absolute LIE!! They are going to try to resell it online for more because it somehow slipped through with the other purses. The “person in the back” was just there two minutes prior so obviously they were still there.
When I walked out to the parking lot, I saw a young kid probably 17 dressed nice walking to his expensive truck walk out of the employee only door. It’s evident his family must own that store and even more clear they make a lot of money running it.
I would not recommend donating Absolutely anything To the store or any Goodwill. Take them to Salvation Army, where they truly help people and are not actually for profit. Enjoy your Coach purse-it only resells for like $40 online in way nicer condition 😂

The lady working at this store is very rude. My family was here making a donation on Sunday and decided to look in the store as we don't come to Holly Springs often. My son found an electric car that he really liked, but I wanted to see how it worked and if it worked. The employee, an older Hispanic woman, walked past us and gave us a very nasty look. Upon walking back up to the register, she stopped in front of my son and stared at us for a good while. My wife informed me she was there and said I may have been in her way, to which the woman responded "Are you going to buy that? If not, he's not allowed to use it in the store." She had a very nasty tone and I could feel judgement from the way she was looking at us. There was not a sign anywhere saying I couldn't test the toy out, and there were other kids playing with different toys that never had a word spoken to them. This woman is obviously not happy with her life and wants to make sure others feel the same way. Just go anywhere else if you have kids because they are not welcome at this location.

The store was clean and neat. Customer service was polite, thoughtful and efficient. Selection limited on furniture but prices good. I found a beautiful lamp and shade in great condition. Two more lamps where shades not as nice but lamps were nice. The customers were courteous and friendly. I'll go back again.

I like this goodwill, but recently they have done some shady things. I purchased a silver platter last week and it didn't make it out with my things. I called and they claimed they would have put anything left behind in the office, but it was nowhere to be found. I went in and all I got was shrugs. They definitely put it back out and sold it again.
Also today, I watched one employee put out a pile of items into the discount bins. I found a sweater in the pile, then when I went to pay the person checking me out had put it to the side. I indicated I wanted that item from the bins also and she insisted that it wasn't from the bins I didn't have time to argue as I had to get back to work, so I just paid the full price for the sweater. I had been careful about splitting up items from the racks and from the bins to ensure everything was rung up correctly. All this to say, be careful and pay attention when here!

One of the older cashiers here investigates every item I attempt to purchase like it has the secret answers to who shot Kennedy. It's incredibly rude. I get you need to check for discs and all that but you don't need to flip through a book pop up book looking for cds. I normally don't get bothered by that , but she so passive aggressive with it, I would have thought we had been married for twenty plus years Store is clean at least.

Never a dull moment at the Goodwill. Some excitement came when a shouting match ensued between a 26 year old employee (she yelled it) and a customer who had finished checking out. The excitement continued on in the parking lot for some time. I hope they settled their disagreement about someone's momma and let bygones be bygones.

I donate a lot of my stuff here and shop when I need something for a school project of whatnot. There are a lot of nice clothes at this location and it really is a gem. The facility is very clean and the staff is very helpful. The prices have gone up a little over the years and I hate to see that as I feel the great bargains really help those in need in our community. I love looking through their books and have found some great sets for my kids. I highly recommend this location in particular.

For ages my father has been going here and recently the manager has given him trouble. If he parks in the unloading area because the parking lot is full she yells at him but if someone else does it then they are fine. If he pulls his mask under his nose to breath she charges out the back like a elephant and fusses at him. However when other customers come in without a mask or have them under the nose it is fine. He only has this problem at the Sunset store. All the other ones are great.
