This place is a dump !!!! The machines are old nothing new . The management or lack there or is astonishing. Oh, and if you want to cancel, remember that the “” code word for cancellation is any changes ““ means that you give them a notice of 30 days while you’re still getting charged!!!! No matter your medical Emergency or on your other circumstances cause they don’t give a shit ! The lack of empathy is outstanding! I don’t advice anyone joining this place it’s only for teenagers

I had a very disappointing experience trying to cancel my YMCA membership at the 3127 Wedington Rd location. I spoke with the membership director, Isaiah Burgess, and unfortunately, I did not receive any help. Instead of addressing my concerns directly, she chose to communicate through another staff member and told me that I had to drive 40 minutes to the location where I originally signed up to cancel my membership.

This approach felt unprofessional and inconsiderate, especially since I had all my identification and account details with me. She could have easily assisted by making a phone call to the other location or handling the cancellation in a more efficient way. Instead, I was left feeling frustrated and unsupported. I expect better service and professionalism from an organization like the YMCA

Fun place during summer for kids who don't have a community pool in their neighborhood! There are a few zones. Kiddy pool for babies, toddler area, and older kids pool with slides. There are nice restrooms and changing rooms, vending machine with snacks, a designated area for eating at tables if you bring your own food, plenty of parking. If you are not a member, it's $10/day for kids under 17 y.o, 18 y.o+ is $20/day

The facility was new, clean, large, and well-run. Sadly, 90% of the members were not very friendly. I made a point to say 'hello' to everyone I met in the halls, in the locker room, in the pool, etc., everyday for a month and only ~ 5 responded or joined in a conversation.

They don't care very much about their members. Don't keep up with equipment repairs and replacements. Change hours for holidays unnecessarily and don't update their public web site. Very expensive if you only want gym access compared to other places. Income based membership fees, so if you make a lot of money, you pay more than others. Ridiculous

Love the is Y! Love the pool during the summer and great workout space. Very clean and a bigger Y so plenty of room!

Used to be a great workout facility but many of the weight machines, ellipticals, and treadmills are now in disrepair (missing pieces, torn pads, etc.).

Nothing seems to get fixed, but only patched with black duct tape. Not sure what’s going on, but our family is looking for other options.

This place is a let down! What’s worst is their membership services team, which sets the tone for this place! Subpar individuals and subpar service! I got a refund and will never come back and I’ve advised others in my family, community and friends to do the same!

They should learn a thing or two from Costco membership services!
