Don't listen to the negative reviews. I've been going to Daymark since March 2015 and they have been wonderful. They are great at what they do. They have worked with me and got me the appropriate medication. I have a wonderful therapist there, she's incredible, I couldn't imagine talking to anyone else. These people really care and put everything they have into helping people. As long as you're willing and show up they will help you.

They helped me for awhile but near the end of my service they were very inconsistent and it felt like they were messing with mental health more than actually trying to help. I had to reschedule multiple appointments just because the doctors didn't actually show up on the days they set appointments. The women behind the service desk were never really helpful and if they were the ones setting new dates then they really liked to mess with my time and schedule. It felt like if I needed actual help most of the sources here were hindering to actually helping the growth of mental health. But honestly what can you expect from the people in Boone?

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I had the worst phone call of my life. My roommate attempted suicide and I called to see if I could give them some help since they don’t have heath insurance and the lady on the phone shamed me for not calling the police on them. I tried to explain to her that he is poor and couldn’t afford a hospital visit and she told us it doesn’t matter and then said “if he doesn’t want help what are you expecting of us? What do you think we can do?” She told us it was a waste of time. My friends life is not a waste of time and not an inconvenience to her personally. We tried to explain to her that she was being rude and she basically cussed me out. This is the most insensitive and unprofessional establishments I’ve ever come across. I never leave reviews but I had to. Do NOT call this place in an event of crisis.

I get pretty ungrateful when I really shouldn't.. even though onTuesday may 17 between 11 and 2 pm 2022 I was given a port to haven't blood drawn. Sharon did stick a clear tube of liquid in my port and into my left arm... .... Well I can't find any record of being there that day.... Since then .... I was angry... But I guess they won... but I miss the only advocates I had since then.... and what good may have actually been done for me.. I feel stuck and I can't get one police report I made to stick.. I had a flash drive mysterioussly given to me with all the police or legal reports I've made in the past 5 or 6 years on it... I've had my home broken into twice in my sleep and my work shop .. my folks will not support and are hiding the information I had put up to go and complain with. I'm also told I'll never have any home protection or be believed. My therapist and this group did help me more than I could accept see or realize.... I feel windless and with no gumption for any action now. I talk to no one. No one visits ... I miss the color and love I was once made of.. I don't really believe any police or institution or any construct is real anymore too many patterns and contradictions. Too many people have told me I'm dead and that people tried to kill me ... I mean it's on my Facebook

My friends and I called the crisis line to get help for another friend who is suicidal. My friend does not have insurance which is why I was afraid to call 911 and get them involuntarily committed. I didn’t want to put them in debt from hospital bills and make their life even harder than it already is. Money is one of the stressors that drove them to attempt suicide. The crisis person I talked to asked whether money was more important than my friend’s life. I tried my best to explain the situation, but she continued to not be empathetic. I ended up handing the phone to my other friend to continue the conversation because I was at a loss for words. I understand crisis line workers are under a lot of stress from talking to people all day, but kindness is crucial in a job like that. My friends and I are just a bunch of college kids. We were worried for our friend and didn’t know what to do. We needed help and guidance, but we got condescension. Don’t waste your time with this hotline.
