I was able to get partial help with my rent which I vary much appreciate. However, they had my anxiety through the roof thoughout the process. They took their time when it came to letting me know if i was approved for help, be prepared to wait 4 days. Then, when approved, be prepared to wait 3 weeks for them to send it. I hope your landlord is patient. I thought they were playing with me because it took so long and couldn't get any answers. So don't expect to get any answers at all after approval. Just wait. Pay close attention to your email as that is how they contact you. I never received any calls. Luckily something told me to check my email which I don't do much.

Absolutely horrible experience. Extremely rude. They will lie to you. Won't hold up they're end of the agreement signed or not. I almost ended up homeless behind salvation army and they're promises. I had to explain what salvation army has done to me and my family to a different agency. They couldn't even believe it. Corporate does nothing. The guy in the office does nothing. And they do not return calls. They treat the community awful. I've heard of many other experiences. I hate they are the ones in my local area. My previous review had been deleted. I come here every so often to make sure my experience is known to everyone. I will keep reposting. That's how dedicated I am to expose them.

Called numerous times each time I was asked the same or additional questions kept being told someone would get back to me they obviously lied and to say this place is open 24/7 is also a lie they wouldn’t even open the door to speak to me after I stated I was hearing impaired and I need to seek shelter immediately and the crazy part is when I had someone call that’s when they decided to say that there are no available beds not only that I also asked if the provided clothes and food they said they didn’t but recommended me to another location so they are false advertising as well

Went to this location on Friday Oct 20th to get assistance with my utility bill. I called the monday prior to inquire about days that help with this particular service takes place, i was told to come in on Oct. 20th. I arrive on Friday morning and was told by the lady at the front desk that those services are on Monday the 23rd. I leave come back today on the 23rd at 9am and was told by the same lady that they are no longer giving out applications for utility assistance and that only takes place at 8:30. I asked why she did not provide that info on friday when we spoke prior and she had no answer for me. Lady at the front desk does not have any customer service skills and obviously doesnt care about helping people.

I was very impressed with the employees they were very kind and helpful. The manager Glen is very sweet and helped me find what I needed. I will definitely go back there again. Prices were within my budget. Beautiful pieces of furniture some even new. Even tho there are other Salvation Army Thrift Stores nearer to me I like this one best.

Horrible experience… failure to communicate and accept accountability of their mishap lead to me being able to get the assistance that I needed in a timely manner.
