ERS of high pint is a scam . They sit in parking lots and tow cars away. Must be desperate for business. I had a handicap sign and they wouldn’t let me get it out of the car. They towed it to high point from Greensboro. Do not use this towing company

Nancy was very helpful (honest, referred me to organization that might have more info to help me with Medicare groceries, medication etc. savings). I thought Healthy Spending Allowance might be a scam. Thank you Nancy. I’ll check it out. I also asked about the many phone calls I get to donate to political election campaigns for the November elections. I can not thank you enough.

I got a call today, 2/25/24, from someone who claimed to be from BBB but did not give me his name. He reported all the emails sent to me in response to my complaint about PERFACT (sic) BROW. That salon did not disclose that a $100 deposit I had paid by credit card for a procedure for brow tattooing to take place 4 days later – which I cancelled in writing THREE HOURS LATER – was not refundable. The reason I presume is that the owner, BHAVI, an extremely high strung lady, was offended when during the consultation I had asked for a prior ink test (having had a previous experience with a brow tattoo disappearing within a week). However, she did convince me to try again, and the procedure was scheduled and the deposit paid. When back home, I thought that I should try to have an ink test elsewhere and emailed the facility to cancel temporarily. She ignored various emails and when I finally called, she was very unpleasant and aggressive.
Apparently, she has now convinced the BBB that I used "inappropriate words" on the phone, which is absolutely false. I am very surprised that the BBB employee would take her word for it and did not ask for proofs, which I know do not exist. His tone on the phone was accusing and I really do not appreciate that.
Very unprofessional and disappointing.

Goforth Pest Control had me wait for service for over 6 hours, only to close the office. That was a Friday. I called on Monday and after requesting a refund they never called me back. Finally they called on Tuesday offering me $50. of my $95. deposit. I told them no.This company has the worst customer service I've ever experienced. And the fact they don't want to give me my money back is almost criminal.

We were finalizing the purchase of motor home RV at Bill Plemmons RV in Rural Hall, NC, when we were told that they sold the unit to someone else. If this is true, why have us put money down on a unit you don’t have any longer in your inventory. The money they said they refunded never appeared back in my account. I have online banking and I can see every transaction that goes on in my accounts. Seem like they are trying to take money for a sale they backed out of. Told my husband and me if we paid them 10k more, they could get us another unit. Who trust them at this point. Seem like a scam to me. I want my money back and I want consumers to know how shady their business practices are. The 1k was to hold the unit until the business transaction was complete. They canceled the sale, not us. Why must consumers go through these ordeals just to do business in America.

I have been contacted by this branch in regards to my complaint. It was brought to my attention that they are not the office that handles my BBB account. They were very professional and courteous and provided me with the information needed to properly file my complaint. I appreciate it.

(I wonder if the Better Business Bureau would have a good BBB rating? My guess would be probably not. Maybe they should spend a little more time practicing what they preach rather then trying to bully small businesses into giving them money for "accreditation." I didn't know that racketeering was an "accredited" business practice. If you are interested in discontinuing your slander against myself and my organization, I do recommend you get in touch with me promptly. Otherwise, legal recourse will be my next option.)

Description of Complaint:
After taking the 2002 Camry in for brake repair and road noise., the mechanic said part of the rotor broke off so he needed to order a new one. Second trip: brakes fixed and vehicles driven home. Noticed rid noise still present and now alignment was off , car pulling to left. Third trip: told lug nuts were bad and tires were choppy. Also they printed out an alignment report which showed alignment was good. But explained to me they do t know why it still pulled to the left.they ordered 4 new tires and lug nuts. 4th trip: arrived for 10:09 an appointment and at 11:39 was told to come back at5pm because they ordered the wrong lug nuts. I was informed that they couldn't put all the old lug nuts on because they were rusty but they "balanced it out so it was safe to drive. I left and went shopping. Fifth trip: went back and at 5:24 n was told I was"all set " note; no alignment report was produced at this point" u drive home the 9 miles and noticed the left back tire was low. Shop was already closed so I called at 7:30 am. They sent a young man out to pick up the tire and wheel and left the car on their jack. I received a phone call declaring that ran over something, tire and sliced the tire beyond repair and broke the tire Rod. The manager called and u formed me that no new tire or repair would be forthcoming. I told him I would be over there to protest and he told me he would have me arrested.

Anyone can write a complaint on a business, and even if the complaint is a documented false statement, the BBB does not care. The commitment to excellence in helping consumers discern about a business is missing. Truth does not matter. The standard for customer service is also very low--employees at the BBB in Winston-Salem are allowed and encouraged to hang up on callers at will. (JD) You may bring your concern to the director, but he will not address it. "I will get back to you" is not meant literally. They will say that they are unbiased, but the punitive action is a false report that stays on file for the business for 3 years-no negotiation and no recourse to remedy the erroneous complaint is available. Severe punishment issued by an unfair judge without a trial or defense heard by business owners.
