Wonderful place. They do so much to help the people in Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee after Hurricane Helene. Gathering supplies these people need and getting them there. Super wonderful.

Great place while working there but the evil underhand is there! I worked faithfully for 3 years in community meals, even through my mom’s passing, and they fired me over something that wasn’t my fault- no questions asked, all told to me! Great place to work but depending on the department and people you work for be very aware- they protect their own!!!

I delivered a single pallet of rejected drink items to donate here, it was super quick since it was only 1 pallet, they close at 4 and open at 8, the backing was pretty tight and I had to turn around and back all the way up to line up. But the people were super nice and a local driver helped me with the backing.

This is a really excellent facility, our group has volunteered twice there this year packing meal kits as well as sorting donations. The team at Second Harvest are very welcoming and they do very important work for the community. There continues to be more and more people who need support and this facility has a number of ways to help out and learn more about the needs of the community. It's easy to sign up through their site and they provide clear, concise directions. If you have an opportunity and interest to help with food security, this is a really great place to do it.

This place does amazing work. They move tons and tons of food by the hour to help feed our hungry neighbors all over the region. Their cause is wonderful as we always seem to overlook the hungry people here in America and in all of our communities. They work mostly with volunteer help so if you have time you should donate a few hours or more if you can. It's a humbling experience to see and experience the great work they do for our community.
