ESOM in walnut Cove NC is amazing. They have great, awesome, amazing volunteers working at the food bank as well as the thrift shop. It's an amazing place, food bank, and thrift store to help the community and Stokes county NC. Highly recommend visiting them if you're in need of help with food, and or donating foods, and for volunteering to help them. Also great to shop at a great, clean thrift store & can also donate your clothes or any household items in good condition.

I have recently lost my job an I have been here in the past but I had to go yesterday and it was a really good experience I didn't feel like I was being judged for being there at all everyone was so helpful and polite and gave me enough for food to stretch for atleast week and half maybe was very grateful for everyone there would highly recommend if you live in stokes county and are ever in need!!!!!

Great friendly volunteers that work, run, and operate this charitable organization. Doesn't cost anything, it's a food bank that gives you and your family more than enough food for your family size, they give you hygiene products, will ask if you need clothes detergent, cat/dog food, etc... They even offer you, or ask if you need a clothing voucher, and it gives you 4 outfits per person, and a pair of socks and shoes per person. you can donate food, monitary (money), clothes, furniture, household items, etc...

They do not open at 9 am. I had to wait for an hour for them to open. I suggested the new hours on the website, and I hope it gets changed. Nice and friendly workers. They are very helpful to everyone.

I have got to be the most blessed person on the planet. The Lord takes care of me. I went to get help with my electric bill and got a load of food, and a clothing voucher. I never expected all this. No one knows why I am in this quaint little town or what it is that I'm battling but I'm on the winning side. That's on the side of Jesus Christ. 💖
