My legal aid resigned last Friday and she told me someone new would be representing and reach out to me. I didn’t hear from anyone on Monday and I have court this morning! Luckily Im prepared on my own, but there are people who really need representation to navigate through the court process. Communication is key because my time will be wasted at court again. Had someone reached out, no one’s time would be wasted in court.

I’ve been trying to get help since April 2024. They’ve promised to follow up and assign a case manager. Nothing. Recently I’ve tried again and was told they didn’t even have enough funds to give me a greyhound ticket. Please don’t donate to this organization it’s definitely a scam. Someone is getting the money and it’s not the women suffering from domestic violence. All they do is send you an email for resources, can’t believe the police and CPS refer this organization to anyone. I pray to be in a position to create an organization that actually gives back to women in my situation.

This place helps with so much, and all the things that they cannot do they have partners that help them with..... I even have connections with shelters in the area that will take clothing and toys and work with the green chair project that will help furnish new apartments for certain women in their care. The biggest thing that they do in my opinion is that they don't just have a crisis line but they actually have people that walk you through the entire scary court process and even will walk you to the bank to help you create a new bank account away from your abuser and make sure you file all the right paperwork with the courts to make sure that they can't find you again and you and your family are protected. I hate seeing a ton of reviews on here of people leaving reviews based on other reviews that they have read. I'm not sure about other people's experiences that seem negative with the crisis hotline but mine personally was great and whereas there may be better therapy out there the fact that they are actually helping women get on their feet and are connected with safe houses and get you with court advocates is the biggest advantage that no one else is offering. It's the getting restarted part that is the hardest for most abuse victims and they really help take you all the way through not just someone to talk to or a place to sleep for the night. I will always volunteer with them and their partners in service of what they did for me and many other women I know.

Hi I was taking child clothing and women clothing to the interact for the women's who get abused and they didn't accept the kid clothes nor the women clothing I wasn't going to leave it for the store but for the people who need it in the times now and in my experience I tried to find clothes for my child and I didn't find any so I thought of going to leave some for women who need it for there kids

As a male victim that has had so much difficulty getting help they have been so wonderful. Every person I have talked to has been so great and caring I've never once felt less because I'm a male victim.

ZERO STARS Ā» After reading a PLETHORA of reviews about this dump I've opted NOT to reach out to this joke of an organization. They must be receiving government funding because the way they handle people is akin to how our government handles people...with angst and disgust. People like this are the absolute WORST next to our abusers. How are you in business to HELP people and all you do is make things harder for them? DISGUSTING! I sincerely hope this place loses whatever funding it's getting and shuts down.
