Mission Thrift Store in Raleigh is a hidden gem! The store is clean, well-organized, and brightly lit, making it a pleasant place to shop. They have a fantastic selection of clothing and housewares at great prices. The staff is friendly and helpful, and you can tell they care about their mission. Whether you're looking for a great deal or a unique find, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Badly lit. I’m in my 30s and I can hardly see the dress tags. The prices are so overpriced. Target brands, Belk, & Dillards. So overpriced. Not a lot of desirable things for me. Nothing older than 90s on today’s trip. I found 1 overpriced athro brand jacket. The church part itself smelled like straight up methane but not the store part. The home section is worse than what’s left over from stuff people wouldn’t take for free at a garage sale. I would not recommend this place.

Most of the stuff are great and kind! Sorry but the older white lady that works the front with the accent is rude. Once a shopper came in and found that I had a baby and wanted to use his discount to buy me a large baby item and she was having a fit saying he can’t use his discount on me in front of me! I felt so embarrassed! So the gentleman bought the baby item for himself and gave it to me in front of her! He was so sweet and kind and just wanted to help a young mom out! I am forever grateful for his act of kindness!! There has been multiple other incidents of her making up the prices whenever she feels it’s too good for the original price. For example the kids clothes are all lumped under $1.99/piece and it was 50% off and decided to charge double or more depending on how she fancy she thinks the stuff looks. I’m better off buying it new at discount stores at that point ! Sorry but these are donated goods, and idk why she feels the need to be stingy.

This place must be owned by Ananias and Sapphira. Greed ridden and filled with absolute junk. Went in here hoping to find a winter jacket before the storms come through, only to find the majority of jackets priced at $40 or more unless they’re from SHEIN, (which not to worry, those were only $20). Laughably offensive pricing on the majority of items and clothing. Found a Mil-surp jacket for the low-low price of $40!! Wow, for that price I might as well sign up for the US Navy. Don’t worry, they have a wonderful selection in the “special finds” area. Here you’ll find a collection of new-in-box transformers toys priced more than retail, and a Jim Morrison biography for $60, with two prior price stickers underneath it, indicating they at one time had it priced even HIGHER! Fear not, hop on eBay and grab that biography for $6.79. On the off chance you DO find something, the cashiers will likely give you a back handed comment on your style selection, such as “I guess you men just don’t care how you dress” when purchasing a flannel for yourself (actually happened to me). What an absolute joy and pleasure to be in this house of the Lord. A prime example of the death of thrift shops in America and the greed that impregnates them all. I’d kill to read the letter that Paul would write to this place. Makes me wonder what a non-believer thinks when they go around the store.

I'm so disappointed in this store..it used to be one of my favorite places but the prices have gone up but my real disappointment is with an item I called about...I was in the store and due to an emergency I had to leave and could not get the item but I called back and spoke with a lady and asked her was the item still there and that I wanted to buy it and asked could she please hold it...I get that the policy may not be to hold items but to me if a customer calls and says they are coming to get the item, I would try to accomodate them, that's just me. She said well there is no one in here now..and tomorrow you get a discount. I drove over there right after opening and the item was gone and ironically the lady I spoke to on the phone was the one I asked about it in the store today. She did say she was sorry but I'm very disappointed. Of course I get they may not hold items but I still wanted to express my disappointment.

Typically decent deals and pricing. Large shop with huge variety of goods. Kids clothes are a great deal! "Money goes to help missions." Clean and well managed.

Don’t understand the reason for boosting up the prices on furniture when people clearly donate furniture. And this one lady seems grouchy everytime I go. Nice way of representing a church ministry.

So pricey. People donate and they sell it 3 times the original price !why ? Oh because they put it neatly on the hangers.. it became buying the new than used from this store worth it . Today I paid 118 $ on couple of stuff and my 4 years old wanted to buy Santa claus figure hand made cheap wood toy , really small item and I think not 50 cent worth. The old lady on the crash register histated not knowing how to say it that it's not priced and I can't sell it to you ! !!! Really! Come one i paid 118 dollars and you can't just make my little son happy! ? Stingy old lady
