I’m posting this on 3.13.25 at 11:28 am. Whoever was at the front desk at this time is to blame. She doesn’t need to work there any more.

She laughed as I said they shouldn’t sell routers for $24 that don’t even turn on or work. She said they wont Change the price even though it doesn’t turn on. She laughed in my face.

First they lie and say it works, then they say they wont change it even if it’s broken. Can’t trust “Goodwill” any longer. Just shut them down and fire all the staff at this point.

Go here to North Raleigh Ministries at 9650 Strickland Rd Suite 161, Raleigh, NC 27615

They are better people who don’t treat you badly for calling out bad practices of selling broken items for overinflated prices.

“Goodwill” needs to remember it’s a THRIFT STORE not a new item retail store.

They hide the price of coats as much as possible. They list coats as less than $10 for men and KIDS are individually priced. Charged $15 for a coat because they marked the price INSIDE the pocket and said they were individually prided. They purposely did not clearly mark the pricing.

I witnessed a lady have in depth conversations with your worker today and continued to talk to each other while putting clothes out. She then went in the back and got a cart full of clothes and stacked a giant pile of Lululemon right where the same lady she was talking to was waiting and very quickly snatched up over 15 Lululemon items. As a reseller I witnessed it as well as another lady and we reported it to the manager. The employee told me the manager was not there because she knew that I was mad. Also she is putting high end items in the jackets area for another customer. This kickback corruption needs to end and she needs to be fired.

Cleanliness? Meh. But let's talk about the standout feature: the red-haired dreadlocked individual. Ignored my requests for help not once, but twice, then gave me attitude when I finally got their attention - complete with eye-rolls. If you enjoy being ignored and treated poorly, this place is for you. Otherwise, steer clear.

I just happened to be at your location today but my comment applies to all Goodwill's recently. You all are ridiculously overpriced. It's sheer insanity. There were the small Ball brand mason jars for $3 each on the shelf today! They sell with clean lids and rings from Walmart for $2 each. What is going on with the pricing?

I give it one star because one of the employees only throws stuff like purses shoes etc. to her family members I know they were her family members because they told me they were family with the employee I was there today and she was putting stuff next to them and she only threw tthe stuff next to her family member (near there hands) they were like 4 persons in total ( her family )and she only put the nice stuff next to their hands!!
And I don’t think that’s fair.
I think the managers should do something about their employees

Usually my trips to GCF are very pleasant however today was not. I was so irritated the lady I believe her name is Barbara (cashier). She often talks out loud. Today she was very rude. She was cleaning out dressing room and was upset because people throw things on the floor. An older lady wanted to try on some things and so she waited until the cashier was finish cleaning the dressing room out. The whole time she is talking about people (I can imagine how their house look like, their so nasty, etc.) When she was finish the lady asked where would you like me to put the clothes. The cashier with her angry disgruntle self said I don't care throw it on the floor. Really you big negative Nancy. Then she takes another person's hand basket and hides it on another aisle because she did not like where it was left at. If you don't like your job quit. It's that simple but no one should have to come in there and listen to your negative unhappy self. She was already moved from another location (Wake Forest) I wonder why. This time don't move her fire her, period! Calling to let manager know also.

This Goodwill Store is a little hard to find unless you know where it is. Nevertheless it is always busy on the weekends and there isn't enough parking. They have lots of clothes but not enough dressing rooms. You have to be very careful to look at the clothes carefully for stains or imperfections. They have lots of books too, but they are disorganized. They don't have much furniture, but maybe it comes in and goes right out. I don't know. They have some home furnishings. The store only takes cash and check, no credit cards.

I have donated here numerous times, but am probably not going to donate anymore after learning about the extremely large salaries that this Eastern NC organization pays their executives who happen to be family members too. It doesn't seem right for a non-profit organization. It seems to have lost the original focus.
