Tried to register my children for months. No one answers the phone or returns voicemails. There is also a 1-2 year waiting list. Didn’t feel confident that my children would even be added to the list when they told me I could write my name and number down and hope to be contacted. It would be nice to have a formal way to actually to ensure that I’m added to a waitlist with an application of some sort.

I’m sure this would indicate that this is a great facility for children but it seems impossible to actually get your children in.

Many staff members from this location play in an adult kickball league, including the management, and while the game was going on their team, the boys and girls club staff and their family members, were making fun of players size, shape, age, and were being aggressive to children on the bench ages 6-11. They cursed at the children, and tried to antagonize a fight with one of the children’s parents, who was repeatedly asking them to stop and leave the children alone. They even resorted to yelling that it was the kids fault, and it takes a very small person to put blame on young kids. I would not trust these individuals with my kids if they can not be responsible adults in and out of work and would question what happens when no one is watching. They showed their true colors today, and created an emotionally and physically unsafe environment for children to be in. Unfortunately after speaking with the director and other teams, they are well known for this type of behavior.
