Had the most lovely afternoon here. Plenty of places all over to sit and read or work either in the sun or shade, under covers or in the open air, as well as multiple fountains, trees as far as the eye can see, and a quiet and peaceful atmosphere overall. Saw butterflies and lizards, turtles and geese!! Would highly recommend.

Tickets were $12 for adults, and they offer a membership as well! Great place for strolling and chatting with a friend, taking the family on an outing, or having personal reset time.

Also had an adorable gift shop with lotions, cards, toys, stuffed animals, rocks, dried flowers, house decor, candles, wind chimes, books, and more. 💕

We had a pleasant experience. It was the right time of year, not hot and not cold. My only complaint is that the maps are digital only and we prefer paper maps. No doubt we missed part of the garden because we didn't know which way to go to see everything. Still, the plants were interesting and once spring time is really here it's going to be even more beautiful.

Lovely little walk, cannot wait to see in the spring time with more flowers blooming. Some areas were off limits due to the upcoming Halloween events which we did not know about until too late. Definitely going to try and do this next year.

We were blown away by their “Holiday Lights in the Garden.” The vendors were great, the lights, all sorts of food/bakery/drinks/etc. for sale, pictures with Santa, the Grinch, letters to Santa, and everything else were better than expected! Our teen kids even said they loved it. What a magical time. 🎄

I’m sure this is a lovely place at certain times of year, but November is definitely not one of them. The walking trails seemed mostly well cared for and there is a nice gift shop with a variety of souvenirs and other items.

Brought my Mom and nephew here. Trails are well kept and clear. Plenty of benches everywhere, roughly every 100ft on the trails. The gardens are well maintained and free of debris. It was a beautiful day for walking around. The restrooms were clean and they have a watering station to fill your own bottle.

This time of year in North Carolina, the flowers are pretty much fried. There were a few spots that still had flowers. Some areas were blocked off, but we had a nice family walk around the grounds. My favorite things were the Frog sculpture, the large cactus, and the gift shop. Every one of us found a few things in the gift shop. Most of the prices were reasonable. Based on the weather, it's probably best to go in the spring instead of the summer. Also, a few people mentioned it's very nice around Christmas time.

One of the best things to do in this area and a very well maintained botanical garden.
