Called for an urgent medical need for a CPap machine. Nia at the front desk helped with a report they needed. Vicki told me what to do on the phone before I arrived and with just minimal amount of paperwork they had me a new machine. They have classes for people who have diabetes and have a lot of medical supplies for people that need them.
Update: I attended a class and it was very helpful!!! Maria gave a great talk. Every week they have different topics to help care for diabetes. Checking in with nurse Liz was pleasantly helpful and informative. Roger was helpful and nice.
If you are diabetic or pre diabetic the classes are informative.
They do so much for the community.

We were directed to Better Health to get assistance get a prescription filled for my wife. It was simple and easy getting assistance with Better Health. The process was simple and took less than 30 minutes and we were directed to where to go to pick up the medication we needed. We were also advised of classes for diabetes that they offer. Check into Better Health. It is well worth your time.

I'm so thankful I found Better Health. I was referred here by The C.A.R.E. Clinic for assistance with getting a wisdom tooth extracted. The lady at the front desk was so kind and helpful and answered my questions. She got me in and out in under 30 minutes, with a referral to a dentist for the same day! Less than 3 hours after going into Better Health, my tooth was extracted and i was home in bed resting with my pain reduced drastically. I'm so thankful for them and it seems like they do lots of great things in the community, too.

They loaned equipment for my mother before her passing and then for my father. Was a life saver till their thing came in. After each passed away I felt I wanted to donate my parents equipment to them to help others that needed items if they needed the help... Better Health is a wonderful place if you need help.......

Great customer service. Jean & Nia were able to help us with a Hemi walker & a cane for my mom. You are allowed to borrow items for 3 to 6mos. Amazing organization

I can't find the words to express how I feel about the Diabetes Symposium that took place on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at FTCC. I am a returning Cumberland County resident. And one of the reasons I moved back to the area was so that I could have access to such programs as the ones that Better Health of Cumberland County offers. The symposium was "EXCELLENT". And I take my hat off to all that made it possible. I feel it was a hugh success. I look forward to attending many more programs that Better Health of Cumberland County offers.

We are only able to assist those who meet the eligibility criteria, which can be found on our website. A true grassroots nonprofit that helps people in need of medical (equipment, supplies, education, prescriptions, dental, and some vision things). The employees truly have a passion for helping. Even if they can't they will try to find someone who can.
