Henderson wIc office is horrible the staff is rude screw ups on there end they refuse to see you if there system says one thing but the messages have a whole different time on there I was on the way to my appointment and called 15 times I called from the time I left my house till the time I pulled up in the parking lot walk in nnoone in waiting room lights are off its so empty in there so I ask to talk to a higher person because I was told I had to reschedule on a screw up on there end mind you this is the 3 Rd time that they have rescheduled and my baby was just born. So I'm paying outa of pocket for his milk as of right now lady comes out to talk she wouldn't even look at my face to talk didn't wanna hear anything I had to say rolling eyes and all but please get some better people with better attitudes in here this lady been here for 7 years I know of and still has the same crappy attitude from the first time I walked in there! Oh also my mother called after all of this and tried calling just to see if they would pick up being I just complained about them not answering and still no answer! Noone not one person was in there but y'all refused to see us just lazy!

Never answer the phone and every 2 months I get my WIC benefits and then it’s time for me to get them I don’t get them

Very efficient, friendly and well organized. We selected this location to get our COVID vaccines because it is out in the country and away from large population centers. When we called them, we were assigned a date and time to show up. When we showed up at the date and time we were told, there was no one waiting in line. We were in and out in thirty minutes and that included the fifteen minute "safety wait" after receiving the vaccine.

I got my first and second COVID vaccines here after driving from the Triangle area to find a shot. I worked at Duke for 22 years (including in the community health center in Durham) and have always gotten care at UNC-CH, but they had no vaccine. I'm SO glad! These other places need to take a page from the Granville Vance Public Health's playbook.

The staff at GV Public Health in Henderson could not have done anything better. From the moment I arrived everything and everyone was super efficient and incredibly friendly, all while being professional. Another thing that stood out is that the staff were this way to everyone regardless: young/old, fancy/plain, and every color. This is not true in my experience of working and getting care in other places.

The GVPH way should not be the exception but the rule. I have told everyone I know that providers in the Triangle should try harder to be like this place and these people. If their provision of other services is anything like their COVID vaccine delivery. . . Wow. It is state of the art!

I don’t have many issues with this place but the fact that they don’t answer calls or return calls after you leave messages. They should hire a secretary or something because whatever is going on there with the phones right now isn’t working.
