Was booked for three nights. Stayed one night. Came back to the room after dinner to find cockroaches and bugs scurrying around the room. Was thoroughly disgusted. Went to the lobby and told the front desk that I wanted to check out because of bugs in my room. Was told I would get my receipt emailed to me the next day and no real care about the bugs or any attempt to make it right. I've stayed at plenty of other Holiday Inn Express's with no issues before, this was a let down.

Despite the appearance of renovations, This was a great stay, In fact the renovations did NOT interrupt our stay at all. Front Desk was super cordial and wonderfully nice.
Rooms immaculate, appears to be new mattresses, super fluffy but still supportive. A plesant decor, love that chaise. Lovely ambience lighting, and a great shade, there is Actually a bit of trim to seal Out All light❣️ THANK YOU!
WIFI and breakfast is wonderful.
it's an all around pleasant stay.

This is a first - we had to move rooms because of the overwhelming cat urine smell in our room. To give you an idea of how bad it was, we drove 9 hours that day, fell into bed and started to gag. I tried to tell myself I could live with it. It was late, we were exhausted and did not want to move rooms. This was not the faint odor of a cat, it was putrid. The unfriendly manager informed us no cats are allowed on the 4th floor, so that couldn’t be possible. After almost losing it, she brought a key up for a new room and refused to go near the room. If she was nicer, this review is not written and I wouldn’t add the part about all the dead horseflies littering the hall (must have just sprayed?). Second time in a row for Holiday Inn…strike 3 may be coming up. Too bad, because I am a long time IHG member and the value has always been great for our employees travels.

Room and hotel as a whole was very clean, soaps were full and everything was ready for my stay. Very friendly staff, want to give the front desk worker a 10/10. Didn't get her name but was very sweet, kind and went above and beyond with customer service.

I’m a world traveler, at times difficult, and all that. But from the bottom of my heart, I’ve enjoyed my stay at the Ennis Holiday Inn.

Love the Dove product line in the restroom, the pool is the perfect temperature, the beds are very comfortable.

We had to stay in a local hotel unexpectedly due to the flooding in our easement. It turned out to be a wonderful stay-cation.

The cleaning people do a fantastic job, noticed a pleasant smell where ever I went.

Got a room after 12 hours of driving then went to my room the sheets had blood on it. Went back down stairs got the receptionist she went upstairs to take fotos. She told me to ask ask for a rate reduction at checkout so I did and the girl in the morning wouldn't help me she said she couldn't. She said she was going to give me enough points for a free night well that didn't happen.

Made reservations to use points . Ihg makes it very hard to do this. Friday nite points used Saturday nite points used and Sunday nite had to pay for even though have the points to use. Each nite there were no more than 20 cars in the parking areas. Check in was easy. Saturday went out to see sights came back and room is locked went to get key and were told that we were supposed to check out. Told them we were staying until Monday they looked up reservation and each day was reserved individually. They said they would fix it for the rest of the time. Went out Sunday came back and different person said we were supposed to check out again said they fixed. IHG has failed they need to fix their way of doing things. The rooms thermostat on the wall was hanging loose and didn't work. The shower stall had work done to it and was screwed to the wall. Towels in the room when we arrived smelled sour and were very well used and thin. Asked for another set and they were fluffy and fresh. The room felt damp. Once the AC was turned on and ran for a bit the room seemed better. IHG processes need to be better.

Great room layout, comfortable bed, nice room amenities. Enjoyed having a large enough bathroom to actually move around. The room and the facilities were very nice and clean. Staff very nice.
