When it’s good, it’s good. I’m a senior, living alone on a fixed income. I appreciate the assistance. Staff is nice. But, more times than not, I get a LOT of rotten fruit and vegetables, HUGE plastic bags of chopped lettuce and cabbage, LOTS of breads (often moldy), smashed pastries (under all the other food), ripped/opened packages and tons of rice, dried beans, lentils, peas and pasta. I spend half the day sorting the good from the bad. Canned goods are good and always usable. Meat is hit or miss (quantity/variety) and usually frozen. Occasional milk or eggs. I would prefer QUALITY over QUANTITY. Do better, Yuma Food Bank.

It's helpful sometimes otherwise for several months now I've received little food and most rotted. Bags of produce already has mold, and things are frozen that are not supposed to be(makes defrosting useless). Volunteers work hard to keep these situations occurring and they need to be recognized for such good deeds. Complaining is selfish but edible food is what familes needs.

My son goes here and we always get so many vegetables. We are both vegan and we're able to make soup if we get meat. Sometimes I make premium dog food or share it with my ex. Who is a meat eater? Thank you so much yuma and all the people that donate we love you

This is a wonderful place to volunteer! I was super impressed with their organization and how well they manage the few hours we were there to help them out. Please consider making donations! They truly work miracles with the items they receive.

They could do a much better job. It should be once a week not once a month. You are not allowed to choose what you may need to for the number of people in your home. They need to reevaluate the way they operate. Thankful for the help but not good food. A lot of chips and snacks , large veggie bag's. Can't prepare a decent meal with salad and chips .
