Eagle’s Nest Camp has been one of the most formative experiences of my life. As a camper, it shaped my sense of self and my connection to community and to the natural world. Now, as a parent, I am beyond grateful that my daughter gets to experience the same magic. Watching her come home full of stories, songs, and newfound confidence confirms what I’ve always known—Eagle’s Nest is a place that helps kids grow into themselves.

The best summer camp on the planet. All of my kids have gone there. My sibs and I did too. A place where kids have fun, unplug from electronics, enjoy the rivers and mountains in the Asheville area, appreciate each other’s differences. I cannot say enough. Love this place!

Eagle's Nest is a special camp in the NC mountains. Your camper will experience summer camp the way it's meant to be. EN has many camp traditions and a host of activities to choose from. It is beautiful campus and always a creative, nurturing, safe environment. The amazing staff and counselors come from all over the US and overseas, many are former campers. Our boys have been going for years and it's the highlight of their summer. They have made lifelong memories and friends. The food is homemade with fresh ingredients picked from their garden. The food at camp inspires us all.

Eagle's Nest is an awesome place to send your kids. They will come back as better people. The summer camp offers a great opportunity for kids of all ages to have a great time in the beautiful southern Appalachian Mountains, while learning self-reliance, independence, how to live and work in community, and how to take good care of our planet. The Outdoor Academy is a semester program for tenth graders that help focuses on the environment and culture of the Southern Appalachians as an outdoor classroom to build new leaders. Eagle's Nest is one of the few, if not the only, camp that is not-for-profit, so it totally focused on it's mission. Check it out.

After attending this camp for years as a teenager, I've been delighted to send my daughter back. The experiences and opportunities to explore the outdoors, learn new skills, and form incredible friendships is like no other. The staff is made up of former campers, friends, relatives, and always a few newcomers; they are an wonderful and eclectic bunch of artists, athletes, musicians, mathematicians, chefs, and anything you could imagine - all ready to help your kid have an amazing summer!

I was very fortunate to be able to experience Eagles Nest Camp, The Outdoor Academy, and Hante Adventures, as a video producer. I interviewed staff, campers, students, and even parents and I can honestly say that I am touched by the kindness and character of this community. They aspire to the highest of human values and inspire those around them to do the same.

I sent my kids to this camp to have a good time and interact with the same kids their age. Instead, they got to do chores, and interact with people that were different gender (or wanted to be). My kids just got out and also out of our very strict house and they had to do more work? Would not recommend this camp.
