The volunteers are kind but it’s sad to see a food bank that is lacking especially when I contacted Safeway and the manager said they give quite frequent to Green Valley and also speaking to Sprouts being said the same, I’ve never seen food items from sprouts, so where is the food going to? Sahuarita food bank has quite more, there are more people living in the area but with Green Valley food bank is quite small, several elderly on fixed incomes need help
as well

Having just driven there and during posted hours = closed. No sign posted. Nothing online. Gas is precious right now and this put a crimp on me. Definitely won't be returning anytime soon.

Fresh vegetables, not too ripe, small cucumbers, perfect for munching, tomatoes, Cauliflower, big yellow peppers, melons, eggs, milk, a big can of pink salmon and a 4# bag of frozen catfish, various canned vegetables and a block of cheese! I truly don't know what I'd do if I couldn't get nutritious food at Green Valley's Community Food Bank. So grateful for all the volunteers who get everything packed and organized. Thank you!

I did not have a positive experience with the case worker taking me through the back- she was rude and cut throat.

This is community outreach in its finest form. I was told they serve 60 plus clients a day. The are open for clients Tues thru Friday. They have one large room with shelves stacked with various food stuffs. A client is escorted by a staff volunteer as they make their rounds. I was told there is produce for the clients also but I was not seated so that I could see it. My view was quite limited and I can't comment on dairy or meat choices. A grand asset to help people in Green Valley

The people are always nice and friendly. However the wait times can be very long. I was waiting for an hour today and when I got their there was only 10 people in front me. I have waited longer at different times and sometimes I get right in and out.
