We love our YMCA! It is a smaller Y, but that honestly just makes me feel more at home. The staff are all friendly and know who everyone in our family is. Cupcake is awesome with after school care, and my son adores her. The pool is very clean and the room is warm, but would love slight warmer water. It is a little chilly when you first get in, but after you get moving it is tolerable. The aqua zumba is my favorite class and Raven is the best instructor ever! The gym has nice equipment that is in good shape. It is never gross or nasty in there at all. Would love some battle ropes though! I love that we can bring our entire family to the gym and everyone can participate, whereas some other gyms I have been to in Lincolnton would not allow for my children to come with us. Also love that it is a faith based community, and the bowl of Bible verses in the lobby is awesome. By far my favorite gym in Lincolnton.

Friendly staff and a great place for meeting new friends. The coffee and socializing is great. They could increase the heat in the pool a little. Cold water is not good for those with arthritis especially in winter. Most seniors come for the pool classes and others with joint problems need warmer water.

It is peaceful and quiet. The gym area could use more powerful machines like a proper pull down row and bigger back exercise machines. But one can do plenty with what they have

It is the nicest cleanest gym in Lincolnton.

There is not much of a community though for the hours I attend. So maybe other gyms are better if you are looking for a gym buddy.

This ymca is full of emotionally immature staff, that bully guests. They are passive aggressive, rude and lack integrity. The management does nothing to make the hostile environment safe and comfortable. Management condones their staffs behavior for and doesn't hold them accountable. I've seen the staff that watch the kids constantly yell at the kids and they slack off and don't put all their attention on the kids. It's horrifying. They are entitled and lack accountability. I've had multiple negative experiences. I strongly recommend and suggest to stay away from this toxic ymca.
Also, I've had several gym member ships in my life. I've NEVER once had Athletes foot, since coming here I have had Athletes foot for the first time in my life. They don't clean their facilities very well. They just touch things up. Don't deep clean the showers. Also things are constantly breaking down. From the shower heads to the toilets. Poorly maintained. The locker room is dingy and smells mildew. Very gross.

The staff is very friendly. I have to be completely honest with all of you readers. When I walked in it was nice an cool. When I walked in the pool area it was hot. The pool slide is always broke. The gym is hot, the workout area is hot. Nobody wants to go to a place and be hot. They need to fix their ventilation! I signed up and canceled the next week. If you’re okay with being hot enjoy! I’ll pass thank you.

This place is so unprofessional. They harass members any chance they get. There facility constantly breaking down. The members are lied to on several occasions. They don't take care of their members. The sense of entitled is ridiculous. They bully members all the time. I hate going there cause I never feel safe or appreciated. I hope management deals with this

If I could put a negative I would I had the worse experience with this people and after school care don’t bother with them they don’t watch ur kids right ,it’s nothing but high schoolers watching them and front desk useless !!!!!!! No one ever helps can’t never get a hold of a manager they never get back on messages or give messages smh worse place ever I feel sorry for the kids in there or the kids the future kids going in there after school programs they don’t deserve not one star but unfortunately I have to so I can post this review other wise 0 starts
