I lived here in the early 2000's I had a great experience but I worked with the state as a minor. I scratched their backs they scratched mine. If you grew up in "the system" you'll understand. You form relationships with the local d.s.s worker your p.o etc if your smart👈

You gotta be honest with yourself and then be honest with them, and they will help. They really don't give up until they legally are required too. Any broken child transitioning I to adulthood that WANTS help, will be helped for $250 a month. Which is cheaper than being thrown out.

I lived there early 2000s and had a horrible experience there the staff were not pleasent people yes I had issues but I was a child who looked and longed for comfort and there there wasn't any I was the only only one there for Christmas and got a present from another person who was there with me that was from her family and it was taken till I left.i was locked in the padded room men watching me in an all female house fed after everyone else ate so my food was cold. I felt like no one would of ever believed me but it happened to another girl and her family reported it and she left and so did I. I felt since I was truly alone in my childhood people were granted the right to treat as they did and all I needed was some one to help me through my hard times after leaving sipes and transferred to another facility I was granted a family at age 15 because I was give the tools needed and love needed to help me heal my tramatic past. Today sipes popped in my head and I looked it up and I had to share a little of my experience and the bad memories I still carry to this day

They discharged me to the streets when I was 17. They watched me pack my stuff and get into my friend's car, Wich we lived in after that. I had nowhere else to go, so they sent me with him. We had a disagreement because he spent our only money on acid. So I left. Shelters won't take anyone under 18 without a parent, and I hadn't spoken to my parents in a couple years. So I was forced to live on the streets. I almost died on a couple of occasions.
