The staff are very professional and very good at all times. I feel like I have a family that really cares and helps with your needs. Food, clothes, housing and one on one sessions and group sessions at your convenience. Don't hesitate if you need help or anything else you need, staff are the best ,and does not judge. All of the staff wants to help you to get back to normal life with the best future for you and your family. I hope that this feedback will make you feel free to come to find out for yourself,I have no doubt that you are always welcome at Blue Ridge, new paths are the future with a new life ahead of you. I have a new life with the help of Blue Ridge and you can too. Mr.Dean Edward Story.

Everything is inconsistent here. Constant mistakes with appointments and times. Groups are run mostly by people who don’t seem Intrested in helping . It’s sad that this is one of the only places to get help for mental health and everything is always a problem. They need more staff more people besides peer support specialists that are trained to help people with disorders and give them one on one time to work on these issues because they have long wait lists. Just a lot of things need to be worked on here and I hope these things get done so people can get the help they need.

I went there today April 4th I've was very emotional. Well there wanted to do zoom, I said no I want a woman I've had issues with men. So now I'm not going back. I deal with on my own I thought this place was a safe place but apparently not. So if I end up in hospital it's there fault. Later

I contacted BRCHS in January as I was seeking an adult ASD screening. Long story short, when I finally got in, I began info-dumping about all of my trauma and these idiots decided to cease the ASD screening without notifying me until the day they misdiagnosed me with schizophrenia on 5/20/24. Three days later, it was changed to Delusional Disorder. Then, two weeks later on 6/6/24 it was reverted to schizophrenia.

Edit 1 - Another thing worth noting is that Jay Ruebel did not ensure I was immediately prescribed meds for my ailment.

Edit 2 - It appears nothing was done about this.

I am currently moving around the Western Carolina Mountains, but had began with Meridian years ago, in the Brevard branch. I find myself lucky that there are several locations, where there are readily available AND willing staff and a Mobile Crisis Response Team, I personally met years ago and was able to get the help I needed.

Those were dark times.

In January, my little brother, Jordo, committed suicide with our abusers gun, my 'LittleOne' (support FurBaby) died unexpectedly, then Jordo's birthday was in late June. He would have been 30. Simultaneously, my Partner of a Decade, left me for a profile picture.

So halfway through the year and I am still catching my breath, but without Meridian, I would be feeling this whole 'grieving/coping/loss' process, Alone.

I wanted to reach out when I saw TWO Stars & balked! 🤔.....🤥
I had just gotten out of a group meeting on Discovering Lonliness, and once again, you have helped me. Uplifted my day even! It honestly has me feeling an attitude of gratitude. I can't afford expensive health care and I know I'm in for a lifetime of healing.

So, I just want to say THANK YOU for being the company that you are (Now Blue Ridge Health, I believe 😉). Most importantly, each individual Staff member, who took the patient time to try & understand my situation, and helping even when they couldn't comprehend it.

YOUUU GUYS!!!! 🥹🫵🏽👍🏼👍🏼😌

I feel like I have a CARE TEAM.🙏🏽🫂 🤙🏽

YOU made a difference in my LIFE.
AND Jordo's time here.

Soooooooooo.... I'm not sure who would rate your services at 2 stars, but maybe......
They were having a bad day

I just wanted to !¡REFUTE¡! that 🏅🏅 (2 star) rating...... in case anyone ever reads these.
My professional opinion is two thumbs👍🏼👍🏼, Way up! Also Known As 5 Stars 🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅

this place keeps going down hill. Takes forever to get in.was in the office and overheard some man telling a lady he was given this day and time for an appointment and they couldn't see him because the person wasn't in and he said this is the second time you did this to me.
Having to do virtual meets to get meds and have a 15 minute Convo and base that Convo to make a diagnosis is nuts to me. Plus it seems that everyone is prescribed the same meds which is weird. Plus not being offered therapy along with the medication Usually due to the long wait lists is crazy to me for ppl who struggle with issues whether big or small. Not to mention the groups and peer specialists what a joke .especially since most of them act awful and rude when doing the groups and want to make it about them not everyone it's great to have those people but to depend on them moreso rather then hire actual lisenced therapists more is beyond me .all I ever hear is were trying to hire more ppl.Something is just wrong why is it so hard to find ppl and keep them?
When my son was involved with intensive inhome we never got the right service despite him being there years... they got paid but we still ended up with the same problems. Everyone quit and new hires weren't experienced enough to give the help we needed. The way we were supposed to have the sessions was never done but was documented as they were. In the end we accomplished nothing. Although we loved his therapist as a person she had a beautiful heart and was kind the therapy part was useless and because he was there so long and didn't wanna talk it was like let's end it because we're not making progress. See they see it as we could use this time for another kid if he isn't going to talk rather then try and engage in a different way to see why he doesn't talk or how he's feeling it turned more into play time.
let's get started on the peer support specialists! Let's charge ppl hundreds to take a class to become a peer support specialist instead of hiring ppl who are trained and actually qualified to deal with those who have PTSD anxiety depression ect....some ppl deal with deep issues and need to work things out not just take meds and peer support is great but some ppl need more and should not have to wait months to be seen. the fact that this place has had waiting lists of 6 months+ is awful to me . Mental health is no joke. This place needs to get it together and realize whoever is in charge is doing this all wrong.there is a reason staff was leaving in numbers.since it was taken over by blue ridge it's gotten worse not better. Unless you have money for private therapy or better insurance then medicaid ur stuck with this as the only option in Jackson and I recommend saying forget it. Somethings gotta give already

Go up
