When The Organic Growers School invited The Educational Garden Project to provide child care for their Spring Conference we didn't know what to expect. As the weekend unfolded and families started dropping off their kids we were pleasantly surprised! The crowd at OGS was more diverse than anywhere I go in Asheville and the collective intelligence was almost overwhelming. Staff and volunteers were very receptive to the needs of participants and everyone worked together to keep morale positive. These are good people providing an extraordinary educational service. Highly recommend

The Organic Growers School hosts an event that is one of the oldest and largest of its kind in the whole entire country!

This event is a favorite of mine to both teach at and attend annually. The ever evolving class offerings ensure fresh information and energy is constantly coming in. A focus on listening to a diversity of voices and perspectives is a welcome element as well.

The non-profit that runs the original spring event has in recent years evolved to hold other events and a host of other great programs as well. Every community needs an organization like this one.
