These folks are absolutely amazing. What they do for the community is amazing as well.. all through helene they were out helping communities 7 days a week rain or shine. Ky they went up there as well and helped. They go above and beyond. They've helped a couple close friends as well as me. Can't thank them enough.
Beloved Asheville is amazing group of people that are doing amazing things for people everyday.

This organization and the people who run it are incredible. I don't really want to go into detail on my story because it's really painful and extremely tough to talk about... but these incredible people turned my life around, and I'm here because of them, and I'm forever grateful! They chose to show me kindness, love, and help when I was turned down by all others. Fema, Samaritans purse, to name a few, they did nothing for me. Well, Beloved Asheville and its amazing team came to my rescue. I love you all, and I will never forget what you have done for me! I have supported Be Loved Asheville for years and am proud and humbled by this incredible organization. It is my honor and privilege to help those who selflessly walk their talk. The directors work tirelessly 24/7 to support our community. They are forward, positive, can - do thinkers and a light in this at times, dark world. I went there in person, and I'd say these folks are the real deal. That really matters at a time like this, after Hurricane Helene ravaged the area, and folks want to know who they can trust and work with to get supplies to people in need.
I met Amy Cantrell, one of the co-directors. What struck me is how she had a good lay of the land, of many other Mutual Aid groups she's been working with already for years. She took the time to talk to us with grace, despite the tremendous responsibility those folks are dealing with. Also of note, she seemed as eager to give as to receive. She wants to keep supplies flowing.
