We are members of St
Margaret of Scotland in Defuniak Springs, FL. and we couldn't believe it when we saw your church. We attended mass there last Thursday, and thoroughly enjoyed the majestic setting. So beautiful, inside and out. So glad you were having mass on a very stormy day!

We attended as visitors and love it! We felt very comfortable.Everyone was pleasant and no one was thrown by our Harley apparel or a 30 year age gab between us as a couple. My husband isnโ€™t Catholic and of the churches we have been at this was one of his favorites. The church is beautiful!

Didn't stop for mass but drove past on a return from the smokies. As a Scot it is nice to see something from home.

Queen/St Margaret was married to Scottish king Malcolm III. Margaret was viewed as so pious her head was actually removed as a holy relic and was at the Scots College in France for over two hundred years (unfortunately it was lost/destroyed during the French revolution.)

This was because it was said to help in Childbirth as she had 8 children, all of whom I believe survived infancy.

Come visit home sometime, I'm sure you'll love it!

Daniel
