I brought a group of juniors to volunteer during our experiential learning week. Habitat was incredible to work with. They were flexible in allowing us to work two days rather than a week. They were the most safety conscious Habitat group I have ever worked with. They found jobs that were appropriate for the skill level of the students, and there were plenty of knowledgeable adults willing to share their expertise with the students.

AAHH is one of the best nonprofit organizations in Western North Carolina.
Not only did they provide my family with affordable housing but also other resources especially during hurricane Helene. They're an amazing organization to parter with.

If you have things to donate this is the best place. No games about how the donations are used and to whom it benefits. Unlike other donation programs where the CEO makes hundreds of thousands of dollars. Habit puts the money into the community. Always happy to donate to them.

Love this store buy and donate to but some of the volunteers that are people who have moved here from "up north", bless their hearts, brought their Yankee attitudes with them and can be very dismissive and abrupt so if you're Southern brace yourself and please control your slap reflex ...

We have purchased many items from here to furnish our studio. Great selection of furniture, doors, rugs, and items at reasonable prices. If you don't like the price, haggle. Someone is always willing to help you get the items to your car. Great service to the community. Two thumbs up!

This place is hilarious with their prices. A beat up futon for $315, $199 for used 5 x 7 area rug, $2900 for a Hollywood style floor lamp and I could go on.. Inflation all over, even at "Non Profits".

Love roaming around this place! It's a great thrift store. Parking can be crazy at times.
