We went on a rainy day. So we could not enjoy the outside. The indoors was great. The young man that showed us the home was very informative. He did a great job.

Awesome! 1st floor was a tour of the house ($4 each) and what people had in their homes in the early 1900's, 2nd floor was an art gallery, 3rd floor was the dolls and toys museum. Enjoyed. Recommend!

Such a pleasant surprise tucked away near Statesville! Interesting history and for $5 you can take an informative guided tour through the Victorian era rooms. If you have 45 mins- hour, check it out(-:

The Mystery Dinner on Saturday 1/27/24 was a ton of fun.
The food was great and the staff were so friendly.
We were a party of 4 and we all had a wonderful time in the mansion.
I recommend it to anyone.
The Mystery was a lot of fun and well thought out. Some players were random while others were actors.
Everything tuned out well!
The Mystery was solved! ☺️👍

Attended a murder mystery dinner here with some friends and it was so much fun!! The staff was very welcoming from the time we entered until the time we left. They kept the amount of attendees to a number small enough to where it felt intimate and you could get to know everyone, but also big enough to where it was still challenging to guess who the murderer was. Highly recommend this event if you want a fun night out.

I paid the $4 to get the guided tour. But if you just want to look it’s free.

Shows a lot of interesting facts of the local area. Would definitely recommend this as a first stop if you plan to explore Alexander county. A couple things you need to know is that you should know is that it’s free (unless you want guided tours) and parking is confusing. We just used the church parking lot next door.
