I can’t imagine this is an easy line of work, and emotions surrounding the work of Dragonfly is extremely raw. Although some of the comments/reviews attest to the connection Dragonfly has to the trauma and hurt in those impacted lives; they work incredibly hard to seek research backed strategies, wisdom from professionals, and reflect on practices to make this the smoothest and most healing process possible. Of course the memories of working through what one does when coming to Dragonfly house will never be pleasant, they are willing to meet and be with you where YOU are, which is such a strong and powerful presence. As a school employee, I appreciate the resources and partnership with the community that help work towards a safer and more healing process for abuse survivors that Dragonfly offers.

Emily should not be in this occupation if she lacks empathy and patience. She answered my call 11/20 at 4:45 and delivered cold, matter of facts responses when I was referred her by a pediatrician. How can I trust this place to treat my child with kindness and compassion if they can’t treat a caller that way?

This place is a joke. Do not expect them to advocate for you or your children. Unfortunately this facility will cause more harm than help both mentality, physically, and emotionally. They will attempt to gaslight you into making your children do things they are not comfortable with. The "doctor" on staff is a vile woman who should not be allowed anywhere near children. Don't be duped by these people, protect your children seek help elsewhere.

Went here when I was 11. They pressured me to talk before I was ready. After I didn’t talk for 5 minutes, they decided to drop my case and nothing was ever done about my situation. They decided that I needed a behavioral counselor because I was “out of line” for not talking. To this day, nothing was done about my case because I needed 5 minutes to prepare myself to talk about what happened for the first time.
