We had a tour of the ranch, and what a cool experience. Tour guide Jen was friendly and knowledgeable, and we got to meet several larger animals outside and small animals inside. My son got to hold a ball python and a bearded dragon! Then we had time on the play structure, which was clean and well maintained. A great experience for both of us!

My family and I booked a private tour at Rescue Ranch. Our tour guide Todd was fantastic. He showed us around the pastures and inside the facility and told us all about the animals. We were able to feed mini horses, goats, a pig and sheep. We saw turtles, turkeys, alpacas, and a huge cow outside. Inside there are snakes and reptiles, cool birds and cute fuzzy critters like bunnies, guinea pigs, chinchillas and more. We were able to pet a sweet bunny and hold a cute rat on our shoulders. They also have an amazing playground with a zip line type feature. Our son even got a nice book as we were leaving. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Great place for a field trip! Educators were extremely informative, playground was huge with wide variety of play areas, and having 4 station rotations made a very organized, great way to spend the time.

We had a field trip today at rescue ranch with our third graders age range of 8-9 year olds. Overall the visit was great, the kids really enjoyed themselves. However, during the part of the tour when we visited the side with the pigs, goats, and mini horses, our guide Leslie did not do a good job handling her frustrations with our kids.

To start that part of the tour, she remarked that she expects our kids to be better than the last groups of kids she had prior. Then at the end of the tour at the mini horses, she became frustrated and conducted herself unprofessionally. Most of the kids were by the horses, and a few kids were just behind the group seeing a small elderly goat that decided as we walked away that he would come to the fence to see the kids. Being that today was a full moon, plus the age group as told above, the kids were acting their age in a fun place where there is a lot to take in.

She stated that the kids were very disrespectful, her timer went off and she stated well that’s all the time we have left and now we can’t get through the rest. Proceeded to stomp to the side of the fence visibly angry and annoyed, climbed over the fence and stormed off in front of the group.

We have never had an issue with RR and our visits. The other tour guides were more than patient with our kiddos. I’m sure Leslie is a wonderful leader at the facility and great with animals, but given the experience today, groups of younger kids probably wouldn’t best for her to teach if she is triggered that easily as kids that age still don’t have great attention spans. Other parents in the group also had the same sentiments.

We didn't do any tour of the farm/ranch itself, but the whole property and facility was beautiful and extremely well kept. Inside, the staff was super welcoming and accommodating of our kiddos. The kids loved seeing some of the animals indoors, especially Opal the corn snake. Outside, we stayed at the playground for a few hours. Most of the time I have to worry about playgrounds having areas that my toddler can't play on safely, but there's something for all kids in this space. The playground itself is huge and has plenty of entertaining options for toddlers, as well as big kids. Additionally, the playground area is fenced in, which makes it easy to keep an eye on kiddos. Will definitely be frequenting this ranch this year!

I am SO pleased with the experience we had here. The people that work there are SO nice and pleasant to be around. Maddy was an absolutely amazing tour guide. All of the animals had wonderful habitats. Plenty of room to run around and get exercise. You can tell they treat them like they are their family pets and not just animals. They were very knowledgeable about every single animal. She told us every single one of their stories about how they got there. I absolutely recommend this place.

I brought my two small kids in for a private tour and it was SO worth the money to have this intentional time with one of the staff at Rescue Ranch. It was a hands on experience where my kids were able to meet many of their ambassador animals. Nikki was our guide and she was very knowledgeable and good with kids! We will definitely be coming back!
