I've gotten many treasures over the years here. It's a very large and organized store.

A few good things: they have a really nice man that shines shoes. I never have on shoes that require a shine. I don't think about it till I'm there. I love the Habitat Too side. Great place to get things for birds. This is also their seasonal room which is generally where I find some of the things I've bought here that I covet. They keep out the fall, Easter, Christmas and other seasonal items year round.

The other side is very organized. It's massive so you can spend quite a bit of time there. The employees (volunteers) are always very kind. I never go in and the lady in the Habitat too side doesn't speak.

This was once a weekly rotation on my thrift store list. I just go now when I have work in Sanford. I've found their prices steadily increasing. For example, pic 3 is a vase. It was from someone getting flowers. It's priced at $4.25. There is nothing special about it.

Over the last six months, but especially a year their prices seem to have grown exponentially. Many of the things I saw had chips and imperfections priced at top ebay and Etsy prices. I dabble in resale. But always buy for me above and beyond what I might sale.

I don't think I've bought anything in here that is at a flipable price in the last year. I buy less and less just due to pricing. I have to really want it to pay for it. I also have to check what I buy carefully because of imperfections that's aren't accounted for in pricing. One thing that caught my eye today was a floral vase with shells. It's $15 and had chips.

I will continue to patronage their shop! It's a great place. I understand the economy might have the shop need to increase prices.

When it's a Saturday and they are about to close I guess it's okay for them to be rude and tell you to leave several minutes before they actually close and then glare at you until you start walking towards the front door.

Normally an awesome friendly place with plenty of treasures.

Hope your weekend gets better Karen....

So not waste your time or money here. Single mom trying to get furniture from the location was told had 3 days to come pick it up.. after 3 days you do not get any refund you donate it back to the store or you pay an extra$50 to have it delivered. Will not give you refund EVEN IF IT IS STILL IN THE BUILDING. Disrespectful staff when asking questions about the refund. Rude will not go back.
*It was a bookshelf and no one informed me on the return/refund policy until i called and asked for the refund. There was no misunderstand if there was no communication.

Prices for the most part are high. There is also no consistency in the pricing of their hard goods. All of these stores are so greedy now. They would rather price something too high and have it sit/take up space for months than to sell it as cheap as possible and rotate that real-estate multiple times over for much more profit over time! Simple principal. They are not the only offenders in town with this bad practice either.

Awesome thrift store, more than a usual Restore. Huge selection of a wide range of stuff. Great collection of books priced to go. All sorts of housewares. Friendly staff.

So first the good: the staff is very friendly and this is the cleanest most well organized Restore I've ever seen.

Now the bad. Like most Restores and Thrift shops in general lots of items have a standard and totally reasonable price. Books, movies, etc. The problem is the individually priced stuff. It's WAY OVERPRICED. I think what they do is look things up on eBay but don't actually check sold listings. They just check currently listed. Then they find the highest price for that item and that's the price they put on it.

The problem is, of course, just because that's what someone is asking doesn't mean it's worth that. You have to check the sold listings.

They also seem to overlook key differences when pricing. For example, there's a SanDisk MP3 player in the case for $30. Look up SanDisk MP3 player on ebay and guess what? The top result is the same price. Problem is that one is 32GB and the one in the case is only 4GB. That's a huge difference.

They really should be more mindful that even their new items are still second hand goods and pricing items based on online prices provides deeper research and more nuance.

One thing is for sure: If their prices were more reasonable I would spend a lot more money here. There are several things every time I go that I would buy but what's the point if I can get it for better and cheaper online?

Great place to get things inexpensively. The staff is friendly. Be prepared to clean whatever you purchase. As with all thrift type stores some prices are better than others. It didn't have a big clothing selection it's more for larger items, like household items. The staff is nice and helpful. I'd reccomend checking this place before spending much more on something brand new, rather than getting the same item( some gently used, some abused) for half price or less. If you need dishes, bedding, a kitchen table, silverware, or a chair; check this place first. It's great that the money isn't being used to profit a big corporation not contributing anything back to society.
