Called Medicaid number to check status around 10 am waiting for a representative to answer holding for a while so I did the call back. A woman called me back from a 332 area code number around 4:58 pm asked why I called. I told her she said wait for the next Medicaid representative. I waited for 17 minutes decided to use another phone to redial Medicaid office a recording came on saying office is now closed to called back. That was not professional. When she did a call back that late she knew the office was closed. I'm so disappointed. Will try again tomorrow morning

Today's experience was bad at Window 6 on the 4th floor. Her behavior was rough & tough . She didn't have enough knowledge to work here. She was eating, gossiping, hanging around without taking care of the customer 😒.. This is ridiculous

Since I couldn’t resolve some issues over the phone with them despite numerous attempts , I took a day off work to come in person to try to resolve and clarify some issues for a family member. Office opens at 8:30, we got there at 8. I kid you not that we were there for four hours. And not because there were many people ahead of us, but because we were given one ticket number and then after going to that window, that window told us to take a different ticket number and wait for another ticket. Worse than the wait was the back and forth, the going in circles, and not resolving absolutely anything is beyond my understanding. They were just going in circles and not answering a single question or helping lead me to a resolution. Lastly, I thought that they would at the very least put my power of attorney on file for my sick family member. I called on behalf of that family member yesterday. Nothing was placed in his file. It’s been a month since I came in person, no one ever put the power of attorney in his profile. Unbelievable. Just unhelpful, incompetent staff.

Workers here are trash! Simply trash no respect, rude, obnoxious, the best way to fill out anything pertaining to Medicaid or any other forms you’re best bet do it online. Do NOT waste your time coming to deal with rude workers. Save yourself a trip. I always feel you don’t like your job despite it paying your bills than find somewhere else to work but don’t ruin it for those who need assistance! Case closed.

I'm not sure if this review will make it far to upper management due to people giving 4 or 5 stars to the rare employees who treated them with dignity. But I would be remiss if I didn't at least try to protect individuals and families in need of help from this man (or from any of the other employees who treat them like dirt).

This office needs a call to action immediately. I have never experienced such vile people. I wish I could have gotten this man's name but I felt if I did he wouldn't submit my documents, isn't that crazy? I couldn't even ask his colleagues because all they did was grimace as he spoke to me. I know all too well about disgruntled employees sticking together.

On the late afternoon of July 19th between the hours of 2 and 4pm (this should be a large enough window of time) I experienced the most hateful man. He was an older bald man not sure of where he is from but looked a mix of Indian and black. I prayed not to be called to his window after witnessing several people and their families being turned away and upset. But I think God put it on my heart to experience this man and do what I can to protect others. I really do hope this review reaches someone who can help.

I watched this man turn away a woman and her two babies because he called her number while she took them to the bathroom. And other customers and I let her know immediately that she could skip us because he called her number while she was tending to her children. He said "nope I don't care, once your number is called already you have to get a new one. I don't care what happened, it doesn't matter." This woman had 2 babies and no additional help with her and I could tell her she was just tired because she just walked away and let him win.

And just like that I was called to this man's window. I needed to submit updated documents for my grandfather with Dementia. As a solo caregiver doing everything I can alone, sometimes I wonder how much more I can take. He saw that the due date of my documents was a week ago. I explained to him that medicaid gave me an extension. He said his system is down so he can't see the extension. What!? So he fights me on it and says this isn't right. He steps away to speak to his supervisor and I could hear the woman telling him it's fine. Can you believe this man tried to fight her on it!? He didn't even know me or my situation but he wanted me to suffer! I was in total shock. My tone was kind to this man and he still wanted me to suffer. I have never experienced someone with so much hate in their heart. He finally gives in to his supervisor and keeps saying to me "they shouldn't accept this, it's just wrong. I doubt they will accept this document but good luck. It's not going to work." He just kept going! Y'all I was shaking with anger. I just want this man to be stopped. I just want this office to be investigated. I don't know how much people this will reach but I will post this everywhere I can. Please to protect others post this everywhere you can. Let's do what we can to protect others.

Horrible customer service!! I went with my grandfather, who’s almost 70 yet the lady in window 11 had no respect. Instead all she did was raise her voice when I tried to explain our situation . They literally hate their job. Honestly if they hate their job so much what’s the point of working. It’s frustrating how they get away being rude and disrespectful with no consequences. Then the security guards said “it’s your race who’s making it hard” like excuse me? By the way, I had a sore throat so I know for sure I wasn’t yelling (like I physically couldn’t). It’s insane. They didn’t even answer the question I had , instead told us if we want a hearing or file another application very rudely. They know they will have no consequences or punishment that’s why they get away being rude and condescending. (By the lady the stuff literally laughed with the security guard right after our conversation. Disgusting! They know they working with low income people who have no power so they treat us like we are not even human) .
